1. Make use of tarpaulin to cover the poultry house . Making of tarpaulin will prevent the cold from entering because there will no space yo penetrate thereby safeguading your birds . Also make sure when you are using the tarpaulin make it doesnt tear or there is hole on it .

2. Making use of light bulb: The light bulb is very important for the birds most especially when they are small. The light bulb helps to create heat for the birds and this helps to reduce the cold outside and also the heat and lifght allows then to eat very well. Instead of the birds to shiver and fold to one side because of the cold the heat will allow them to be able to move freely without any problem.

3. Dont allow the floor  to be wet. When the floor is wet it can cause cold for  the birds when the lie on it for so long. The floor should be free from water at al time.
