Mi encarecido lector se reirá de mí, pero era la liberación de una presión a la que hemos estado sometidos los nacidos en este territorio, ante las vicisitudes que son del dominio público. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Una de las claves que olvidé mencionar ayer, era la capacidad de aprovechar los errores de los rivales de éste equipo. Y fue esa la clave del partido precisamente. Venezuela se fue arriba dos carreras por cero ante México, aprovechando errores de los contrarios y aunque ambas carreras fueron sucias, igual valían para cambiar un marcador. Éste se siguió moviendo durante la noche mientras el juego avanzaba, pero del lado mexicano debió haber sido una pesadilla ¿Por qué?

Ocho (8) partidos ganados, uno (1) perdido, 61 innings completos sin permitir jonrones a los contrarios, 61 ponches, un pírrico average de los bates contrarios de .181 y una efectividad de 1.49 ¿No es increíble?

Como diríamos en Venezuela: "Un carro de leña" Cuatro de los cinco líderes en hits fueron venezolanos. Con todo este talento, creemos difícil que más de un scout de ligas mayores no haya salivado.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Parte del crédito también se lo lleva el cuerpo técnico del equipo: Carlos García, Robert Pérez, Alex Nuñez y Omar Bencomo fueron los mentores del *teamwork,* todos ellos ex-peloteros activos en las grandes ligas y la liga profesional de béisbol de Venezuela. Ellos supieron imprimir la actitud de campeones en los chicos y con la experiencia previa adquirida de su época de activos, dieron las directrices necesarias para la obtención de la medalla de oro. Una clara progresión de la categoría se hizo evidente en México: octavo lugar en el campeonato del 2016, tercer lugar en la edición 2018 y ahora la corona máxima de anoche.
