&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ésta mañana a las 8:30 a.m. (hora venezolana) revisaba la prensa deportiva nacional, para saber si se había confirmado el rumor que rondaba ayer por las redes sociales tradicionales, sobre el posible salto de Salomón Rondón, delantero venezolano, al Everton de la *Premier League* de Inglaterra desde el CSKA Moscú de la liga premier Rusa ¿Saben cuantos titulares leí al respecto? 0, ninguno. Apenas conseguí una nota en el diario El Nacional que hacía referencia a la información oficial. Un diario que hace tiempo decayó en la información deportiva, era el único que hacía mención al asunto.

Menudo planteamiento del cual, no pude menos que hacer paralelismos con el caso del Gladiador (sobrenombre por el que se le conoce a Salomón) ¡Por supuesto! Salvando ciertas distancias.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Aquí entra a jugar, lo que muchos dijeron cuando Salomón se fue a jugar a China desde Rusia: su capital mediático bajaría enormemente. Y ha sido así, lamentablemente. No se explica, de otro modo, como los medios de comunicación nacionales obviaron el fichaje del que es considerado el mejor delantero de la historia reciente del fútbol venezolano ¿La razón? Quizás un pase de factura de la *mass media* nacional por la manera reservada de llevar su vida. No es un jugador que tenga poses de divo, ni que le guste andar contando su vida a todo el mundo. Y eso debiera respetarse.

Los detalles del contrato no han sido difundidos a la prensa y creemos que es un fichaje por el cuál el fútbol venezolano debiera estar muy feliz.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; El Everton se encuentra con récord de 2 ganados y uno empatado, en el segundo lugar de la tabla de la liga premier, que apenas está despuntando su temporada. Las expectativas del club ha sido reforzar la delantera del equipo y se hacen de un jugador con las características deseables en ésta liga: buen cabeceador y que va al choque al aire sin miedo. Salomón conoce ya el cómo se juega en la *Premier* porque jugó para dos equipos de la liga: el *West Bromwich Albion* y el histórico *New Castle*, éste último equipo donde ganó el mejor jugador de la temporada (2018-2019).
