How bright and lovely the sky is on a Sunday morning, and the environment looks so calm for the day to get kick start. Today also happens to be the very day that all Sunday church services resumes as said by the President exactly a week ago, and I just wait to see how things turn out for all those churches that will resume today. <center></center> Our church on the other hand is not too quick to resume today but to study the cases for a while even before they allow us to go. To take you on a quick reminder, all churches are to take a maximum of 100 congregants per service with the 1 meter rule attached to it and above all nose masks, washing of hands and the use of alcohol based hand sanitizers should be used frequently. The issue of child trafficking over the years has been a major issue that affects some parts of the country a lot. It is to this that various concerns have been raised on it as each day goes by. The media keeps educating the mass on how bad and worst it gets for these children in the trafficking stages with insights to the suffering they go through each day of their lives, but parents keeps ignoring these to let their children go through them. <center></center> These parents always have one thing in common that makes them sell their innocent kids out to people to be used for trafficking. And that very thing is no other than what I call “the animal called money”. Because of the suffering to make money people are killing each other, while others just sell out their children for their selfish gain that can not even last them for a month. On the far side of the river volta in the volta region of Ghana, the immigration service together with the marine forces keep rescuing children that are used for fishing on the sea instead of being in the classroom. These kids ranges from as low as 9 years – 15 years who are left in a canoe on this large river to be fishing while their mates are in school. Watching the news I there was this very child saw who narrated how the has being suffering in the hands of these traffickers. He had cuts around his legs and arms that he got from strokes of canes from the traffickers. They are being left to only work work work without any proper care from them. I really thank the immigration and navy forces for the best of care and rescuing of these children who are going to be our future leaders of the country. We can not allow the future of this country be used this way when they can be enrolled in education to cause a change tomorrow. I was very happy to also notice that these kids who are being slaved in the trafficking are not reunited with their parents or family but are rather enrolled in education to learn toward whatever they wish to be in future.
