Hello everyone. Today I am going to share [my battle.](https://splinterlands.com?p=battle&id=sl_f0ddc7771d213be6974f05992b4f37b9&ref=fieryfootprints)

**Battle details:** I played with water splinter. And my opponent used a earth splinter against me.

**Battle rules:**
It was a battle with 42 mana cap and one rule:

Back to Basics: Monsters lose all abilities.

- KELYA FRENDUL level 4. Ths summoner adds armor and speed to my team.

- DIEMONSHARK level 4. I picked this monster because it has high armor and health.

- DJINN OSHANNUS level 2. I chose this mage because it has a lot of health and speed.

- RULER OF THE SEAS level 1. This monster has decent health and magic attack.

- PHANTOM OF THE ABYSS level 2. This is a very powerful and fast mage.

- AZMARE HARPOONIST level 1. A strong ranged monster.

**Battle strategy.** I used tank with good health and armor to protect the rest of the team from melee and ranged attacks. Most of my monsters were mages because I knew that enemy will not have abilities like phase or void. That means that every magic attack will be successful,

My opponent also used multiple mages.

My opponent lost his tank but my tank was also dying.

At this point battle was even.

Luckily unlike my enemy I had some armor and it protected me from ranged attacks.

At this point I knew that I will win.

And I won.

In this battle I won 0.115 SPS and 14 League Rating. My strategy worked but not as well as I expected. My opponent used a similar team to my own (3 mages and an archer) the difference was that my team got some armor from my summoner. In the end I defeated a higher level opponent.
