Time Is Ticking - I'm I working too hard?

Am I working too hard, have I enjoyed life? I hope so, I am more than half way through it.

This question is starting to enter my thoughts every day lately, I am a typical citizen of 40-50hr week working for the Man, then Saturday hits - 12-14 hrs at home on the usual honey-doo list or other projects that tend to exhaust me by the end of the weekend.

Yes, I have enjoyed some vacations...but not many, why do we do it? why do we work so hard? 

I pray that when I am on my death bed, I will not say to those around me "I wish I had enjoyed more of life, instead of working through it".

We cannot control time, but it sure control's us.

Tomorrow is Saturday, I think I will walk on the beach tomorrow morning for some "me time"...before I go to work.

I think the secret for a successfully life balance is to try to find a job that you actually love! In other words, to try to mix work and leisure.
