No soy de creer en cosas como la ley de atracción y esas cosas pseudo-metafísicas, pero, si tengo la plena seguridad de que el enfoque y la atención son de las cosas más poderosas que tenemos los seres humanos. Desde hace meses he estado dándole vueltas en la cabeza todo el asunto de concebir a Hive como algo más allá de un simple blog. Creo que incluso, escribí un post sobre ello. Recientemente ha vuelto de manera muy vivaz el pensar Hive como una empresa, y aunque podamos ver a Hive como una empresa, me preguntaba ¿Qué tipo de empresa? Resulta que hace un par de días mi amigo @enrique89 escribe un post donde respondia a mi pregunta, básicamente:

Pero, antes de acerarnos a este sentido empresarial en Hive que considero actualmente un aspecto de vital importancia, debemos conocer:
# ¿Qué es una startup?
En principio y de manera breve podemos definir a una startup como una empresa emergente con una organización humana de gran capacidad de cambio. Es una empresa que ofrece servicios o productos innovadores y que pueden ser profundamente deseados. Ahora bien, pensándolo desde Hive que es definida como una blockchain descentralizada basada en su protocolo de *“prueba de participación delegada”*, siendo una plataforma tecnológica pionera en la construcción de la web3, ¿Acaso hay algo más innovador que eso?
La mayoría de los usuarios asocian Hive a solo una de sus atributos, RRSS descentralizadas pero Hive es más que una plataforma de redes sociales y eso es lo que precisamente hay que fomentar. Entiendo que usando las RRSS de Hive puedas recibir un incentivo monetario, recibiendo los tokens propios de la blockchhain, HIVE y HBD, pero, el token hive no está construido para ser transaccionado en principio, aunque esto no implica que no se pueda hacer, es el token de gobernanza de la cadena en su capa principal. Pero hive, tiene por lo menos dos capas más y es momento de voltear a ellas.
Pero, volvamos a la concepción de Hive como una startup que es lo que importa en este momento. Si algo caracteriza a este tipo de empresas es la capacidad que tienen para innovar, desarrollar tecnologías y diseñar nuevos procesos web. Vamos a tomar cada una de estas características e intentemos observarlas en Hive.
### Innovación:
Hive es una blockchain descentralizada, eso ya todos los sabemos, evidentemente carece de CEO, sino que cada miembro de la comunidad es en parte dueño de Hive o más bien de una parte de Hive equivalente a su Hive en stake, no por nada lleva el nombre de token de gobernanza. La innovación radica en que la comunidad es una comunidad de socios más que de simples miembros o usuarios. Aunque esto no es lo único innovador que tiene hive a nivel empresaria.
### Desarrollar tecnologías:
No solo se puede desarrollar tecnología en hive sino también nuevos modelos económicos. No tienes que pedirle permiso a nadie para crear una aplicación basada en Hive
### Diseñar nuevos procesos web:
La blockchain en sí misma es un nuevo proceso web, por algo le llamamos web3. Un ejemplo claro lo tenemos en las RRSS de Hive, son redes sociales tokenizadas y actualmente se están creando y desarrollando nuevos protocolos que permitan desarrollar una economía del creador.

Este fue el resultado que obtuve, es cierto que puede ser una encuesta sesgada ya que solo un pequeño grupo de personas participo. Pero podemos intentar deducir que los resultados no están muy lejos de la realidad. Y que nos puede hacer pensar un par de cosas. Aunque en principio no quiero afirmar nada en absoluto basándome en la encuesta, me hace pensar en el los diferentes modos de concebir a Hive, y sobre cómo nos relacionamos con la plataforma. No puedo afirmar que el número de horas que le dedicamos a Hive cada día es equivalente al nivel de compromiso con la blockchain.
#### Solo quiero dejar una pregunta a libre interpretación:
# ¿Consideras a Hive como una empresa?
No pretendo dogmatizar a nadie, ni decir que todos deben pensar como yo, si no crees que Hive es una plataforma financiera es válido. Pero quiero presentar algunas características que considero propias de una startup entendiendo que una empresa de este tipo posee un factor de innovación importante.
- **La no tolerancia a la mediocridad: Considero que como empresa que busca innovar cada persona que le conforma debe tener claro que todo aporte suma y suma en la medida que se crezca como un equipo. De modo que cada persona dentro de Hive debe intentar siempre dar lo mejor.**
- **Relación responsable con el dinero: Tener Hive en stake representa tener capacidad de influir en la blockchain, y que de algún modo todos aportamos en el fortalecimiento del ecosistema, por otro, existen mecanismos como el DAO que se han erigido con la intención de aportar en la construcción de Hive de uno u otro modo.**

El crecimiento de Hive no depende de algunos pocos, sino de todos los que formamos parte de esta blockchain.

Recently it has come back in a very vivid way to think of Hive as a company, and while we may see Hive as a company, I was wondering what kind of company?
