Empezaré diciendo que este dibujo me costó bastante hacerlo. Lo que más paciencia de mi requirió fue el detalle de la corona del dios. La imagen de referencia es el ejercicio número 51 del Cours de Dessin de Charles Bargue. Se trata de un busto de Júpiter, Zeus para los griegos, señor y regidor, el que amontona las nubes, padre de todo, el sustentador, el que da el alimento. Ese arquetipo es una figura de origen indoeuropeo común a varias mitologías: consiste en esa figura del dios padre, protector, el "paterfamilias" romano, pero en macro. Un constructo mental interesante. Es una imagen que pervive aún hoy en varias de las culturas más dominantes, donde el hombre es el que sustenta, rige y decide. Los patrones culturales de las civilizaciones duran centurias y la gente no es consciente de ello, se aprenden desde la infancia y se repiten de manera inconsciente, como los cuentos y mitos, pero con su constructo ideológico velado por la performance y lo visible, por el cuento y la justificación (es mitos y logos, no mito versus logos). Las bases de las culturas se aprenden es en el curriculum oculto de la cotidianidad, se aprende en el juego infantil, en las religiones a las que nos inducen, y ya explícitamente en la escuela (el ejemplo más terrible son las escuelas religiosas). Pero en fin, es el mundo que nos tocó, un mundo de adoctrinamiento y de odio. Hay que tratar de no dejarse dogmatizar, ser más humanista o post-humanista, mejor dicho, ser más ecologista y animalista. Las viejas doctrinas siempre perviven, así el mundo cambie, queda registro explícito o implícito. Pero siempre que entran en crisis por un cambio de consciencia entran en pánico, creen que los están amenazando. Realmente estamos nosotros con nosotros mismos, con nuestros errores y virtudes, tenemos que tratar de convivir, aprender a hacerlo; porque todos estamos en la misma casa, que es el planeta. Más respeto a todo y menos Júpiter tratando de controlar y organizar todo, sin creerse el dueño de la casa, el ego. El trophonius es más una fuerza de la naturaleza, o una función sustentadora, es decr, una abstracción hecha por la mente humana de esa función, en sí misma está más allá del bien y del mal, en sentido maniqueo, es decir es más omniabarcante, más compleja. Lo que entendemos es siempre lo superficial.  
Para el ejercicio usé mis lápices de siempre, el HB pára los trazos más suaves, el lápiz B para las sombras y detalles fuertes o de profundidad. Tomé las fotografías con mi celular.

I will begin by saying that this drawing took me quite a while to make. What required more patience from me was the detail of the crown of the god. For the exercise I used my usual pencils, the HB for the softer strokes, the N°2 for the main strokes, and the B pencil for the shadows and strong details or depth. I took the pictures with my cell phone.
