Well, a nice image is better than a huge block of text that some people are sending out...

BUT when I open a mail I want to see a few lines of well-spaced text telling me clearly what the link is taking me to, and I want to see the LINK **above the fold**.

I swiftly scan the text, then click on the link asap and shut down the email. So I'm not so keen on scrolling past images to find the link... 

If your image is hyperlinked, then all good. But there is no way I'm going to read those blocks of small-print text in the image you made. 

The headline and the question "what does that mean?" (with some hint as to **HOW I might benefit from it**), and a call to action would be enough, I think.

That's my perspective as an email reader. I just want to get to the link, click through and shut down the mail asap. We are incentivized readers; we are only reading to find the link so we can earn credits. IF you create interest along the way, well that's a bonus! (And I do respond to emails and landing pages that arouse my curiosity.)

What I think is more important - and I haven't figured this out yet - is the subject line... the OPEN rates are relatively low so generating more curiosity in the subject line seems the most important thing.

Hope you can take on board my feedback without letting it cramp your style.

I don't use Canva but it sure looks like a good way to make a graphic. Did you send out a mail using ListNerds? I checked my inbox but I don't think I see yours come in to my inbox.

Thanks for this tip on creating very attractive emails for List Nerds. I will have to edit the email that I have set up for tomorrow.
