*While most of us are focusing on WEB3 social media for obvious reasons, there are a ton of opportunities being missed on WEB2 social platforms.*  

**[Twitter](https://twitter.com/)** is the frontrunner in this space since it has adapted itself to the needs of the wider crypto & blockchain community. In the list of top social media platforms, it holds the rank 15, crushing 436 million monthly active users (MAUs). All new & upcoming crypto/BC related startups, businesses, services & creators are using Twitter to market their brands and engage with their potential users, fans & supporters. It's the easiest & fastest way to communicate and build a community in today's times.

<center><h3> The Rise of Hive </h3></center>

Hive has risen from the ashes on March 20, 2020! Sunny boy, the father of cryptoscams almost screwed it up for us! We have emerged as heroes after the hostile takeover of STINC, its ninja mined stake, and ultimately the STEEM Blockchain. No wonder we are the best & the longest-standing social media BC community in the world and so much more. We have touched the lives of several people around the world, changed them for good, and continue to do so with the help of this amazing technology. Each one of us is writing a different book using Hive in our unique ways. We have developers, investors & creators from different demographics, backgrounds, and interests with the common crypto bond. It is very important to tell the whole world about what great things we are building here and the contributions being made to WEB3. That is the reason why I started "Documenting Hive" on Twitter. 

Community is an important aspect of businesses and societies. It can be your competitive advantage in both the Web3 & the Web2 world. Hive is expanding quickly and it's about time we explode in terms of no. of users and activity even on Web2 platforms. That's where our audiences ( aka potential users) are!

**[Documenting Hive](https://twitter.com/DocumentingHive)** is a community-run project where we do our best to document (duh!) Hive's Epic journey to the moon - ONE TWEET AT A TIME! The inspiration behind this has come from similar projects out there on Twitter for [Ethereum](https://twitter.com/DocumentEther), [Bitcoin](https://twitter.com/DocumentingBTC), [Cosmos](https://twitter.com/DocumentingATOM) and many more. Check them out and see what they are doing.

**My vision** is to make it **the biggest 'Hive Journal' on Twitter** covering all the past, present, and future events, news & info (data & stats) related to the ecosystem. Five years later when we go back on the Twitter timeline of this account, it would be amazing to witness how much we have achieved within that timeframe.  

@guiltyparties DM'd me on Twitter to know who owns the account. I was about to come out anyway. At least everyone on Hive knows in case they would like to reach out. Have already plagued some of your Twitter profiles so watch out for me. 😎

The reason I am addressing myself as 'WE' is because [Documenting Hive](https://twitter.com/DocumentingHive) will not rely on just me but also on several other community members for the latest & most credible info concerning Hive. UGC. 🦁 Only then it will be a community-run project. It means YOU are the most important piece of this puzzle. Sooner or later, I will plan to add more interested (& interesting) peeps to Tweet from the same account, if required. Until then it's just me!
