3 days ago I launched an [SEO writing contest](https://leofinance.io/@finguru/polycub-seo-writing-contest-150-leo-giveaway) to promote PolyCUB, the newest DeFi application released by the Leo Finance team on Polygon Network. He mentioned that **my articles bring the most views to LeoFinace.io from google searches.** Now, this is what I would call an achievement! 9.2k views in the last 90 days (Jan, Feb & March) from the date HMT wrote that comment. I have kept dominating the search views charts since the start of January this year and two of my articles are consistently getting the highest organic views.

I don't even promote those links anymore. It's all SEO and my great luck. I have started posting only a year ago and this is what I have achieved so far. 😎 @forexbrokr pitched into the conversation and gave another golden tip to the other Leo Finance members.

Whenever you talk about Polygon DeFi in the future or if there is any reference to UST/USDT, you can link my articles to create more backlinks. Google will rank such pages higher that have been linked multiple times on the internet. <center><h3> Google Search Views Stats - 90 Days</h3></center>

Now let's look at my current stats for the last 90 days. The site I am using here is called Simple Analytics. Shoutout to @hitmeasap for providing the [link](https://simpleanalytics.com/leofinance.io?period=month&count=3&referral=google&search=paths%3Afinguru) where any one of you can go and check your own stats. 

<center><h5> Daily Views</h5></center>

If you look at the chart below, you can see the number of page views my account has got in the past on daily basis. During the month of January, I was getting well above 100 page views per day and this declined to the 50-100 range in February & March. This might go up or down depending upon the search interest and the competition with other content.

Out of the 8.9K views, 7.7K have come from the top two performing articles. That's 86.5% of the total views. Last year I have produced a ton of searchable content and google picked only these two. 😂 You never know what is going to click and to what scale so keep pushing as much content as you can that is evergreen and has the potential to stay valid for the years to come.

The great thing is that 13% of the total views are from the USA which is considered to be the Tier 1 traffic followed by Iran, India, Brazil, and the Philippines. Looks like Polygon and Terra (LUNA) are quite famous in these countries. Another interesting thing is to see that majority of the traffic is coming from the Desktop. I was thinking mobile traffic would be higher but it's otherwise. A thing to note here is that this data is only applicable for Google search views. Simple Analytics did not consider views from other search engines. Moreover, Brave doesn't allow you to track this data for users who choose to hide it. So the numbers could be much higher than these if you consider all these points. 

<center><h3> Be The SEO King of LeoFinance & Hive </h3></center>

HMT & Dane called me the KING of SEO because of these insane numbers but I am not even an SEO expert. Honestly, it was unbelievable for me at first but now I get it. **Anyone can become the king of SEO with constant learning and applying those strategies to your content.** You will get better with each article. I am pretty sure that in a span of 6 months or so, you will start seeing the same or even more promising results if you keep at it. In order to get views from search engines, you don't have to put in a lot of science & effort. Small tweaks can create big impacts over time. SEO is a long-term game and you will not see the results right away unless you picked a trending topic at the right time. That's why it's important to keep evolving and try different things. Let me list down some of my favorite tips which I personally use for my articles:

1. There are two types of content you can publish to get search views - **Trending & Evergreen**. Trending topics might give you a surge in views for a short period of time but they will die as interest dies. Evergreen topics have a chance to provide you constant stream of views for a long period of time. It's better to use a combination of both.
2. Always do **Keyword Research** before publishing your posts to find out what people are searching for? Keywords with high search volumes will have higher competition and low search volumes will not give you enough views. So go for the ones in the middle so that you won't have enough competition but enough potential views. 
3. Your **Title &  Headings** are important. They should contain the main keywords you are writing about. Make them catchy and interesting to attract more attention from your readers. 
4. **Images & Screenshots** are necessary to make your content intriguing. Plain text is generally boring. Since we are living in the age of Digital Media, there are so many ways you can present your content. Using good images and screenshots can increase the attention span and thus increase the average time spent reading your articles. It's great for SEO and Google will rank your links higher in the search.
5. Add **Backlinks** to your own content to the latest articles you make. Earning backlinks from outside is hard but you can do it for your own content that you published in the past. If you publish content on other social media websites, then make sure that you refer to your Leo Finance articles whenever possible.
6. **Updating Old Content** and making it relevant to the present time also helps in regaining more views via search. I don't do it for all of my posts because it's just not possible but at least I am going to do it for these two links which are giving my so many views on daily basis. I suspect that at some point, they might go irrelevant and that's going to be my cue to update them. 


I hope you guys liked these tips and apply them as much as possible in your articles. Start mastering one area & then slowly move to another. Gradually these will become a major part of your content creation and publishing process. It would greatly benefit you as a writer and who knows, some crypto media publishing house might hire you because you know how to fetch views with SEO-powered blogging.
