Anyone else having a hard time getting curation rewards?

<p>I've been trying to upvote as much quality post as I can for the past couple of days in hopes of acquiring some Steem. I've been reading all these guides that are on the front page and they don't seem to be helping much. Is the only way to make money on Steem is to be an author or make funny comments? Let me know what you guys think or if you have any tips!</p>

Hey, sorry you have been having a hard time getting curation rewards. I'm not sure if things have changed but the best time to vote is around 30 minutes, if you vote earlier the author gets most of your curation rewards, this is not well published and not many people know. This mechanism is meant to discourage bots, but imo is very stupid because you can just program a delay into the bot anyway.

Also vote for us @bravenewcoin we post at least once every single day, seven days a week. Our posts always get fair $$ value, we probably average around 300 SBD but we do get high ones over 1000 SBD and the occasional low ones, but I am promoting the @bravenewcoin blog more to avoid low ball posts.

You will always make money by curating on our posts.

Try to vote only on just a feew quality articles, otherwise your steem voting power dilutes too much, especially when it is not much to start with.
