It is more than that. Other cryptocurrencies spend a significant effort in getting their coin on all exchanges. Steemit Inc philosophy is "Build it and They Will Come". Well, this field of dreams philosophy doesn't work. We have slipped in rank using that philosophy and are soon to be out of the top 50. I'm tired of waiting for Steemit Inc to do something. I want to build an exchange that pairs STEEM and SBD with everything else. It will be the first marriage of social media with an exchange ever.

That's true @firepower patience and faith always fruitfull. Just need to stay focussed for the good days that are coming slowly and steadily with steem soaring to moon

I for one will ride out this downturn and see this as a buying opportunity. 
Within the last several days I have purchased close to a 1000 Steem to add to my portfolio. 
I will continue to be an active member of this community as i am a true believer that Steem will only  be stronger in the future.

It might be different for people who relied on their earnings from here or for those who invested a nice chunk of money when STEEM was over 1$.

But for someone like me with a small SP I am as optimistic as ever. And I actually like that at these current prices I can trow in a couple of bucks to increase my Steem Power. I think that we are a great community and that people who stick trough these hard times will have a lot of reasons to be happy sooner or later. The thing is, good thing come to those who wait.
