It's not what you think it is. Happy Independence day.

Nothing spells freedom like being arrested-and having your kids kidnapped by the state-and locked away for years for possessing, growing , or selling a plant-even if it is to treat some terminal illness or to alleviate a lot of pain, or to control seizures or whatever medicinal purposes the DEA says it doesn't have.  Cause you know America is the land of the free and home of the brave or something. 

Actually the plants in this photo aren't what you think they are.  It is from an patch of oregano growing in my garden area.  And it just so happened that some cinquefoil started growing near bye.  I could have removed it from the garden as I try to do the other weeds, but figured months ago it would make an interesting picture. 

Where I am, I think it is legal to grow the real stuff.  But if you lived in a part of the USA where it wasn't legal, posting a picture of a marijuana like plant could create the probable cause that could result in a police officer arresting you and searching your property.
