Being secured of your properties, both intellectual shouldn't be something taken for granted. 

Cyber crimes is on the high side and that's why we must be at alert with our passwords to avoid hackers.

One thing I love about the hive blockchain is the way everyone's account has been made secured. But, inasmuch as it has been secured, we need to be more careful. 

>**Highlight the steps involved in changing the trustee account (recovery account) to your hive**

The trustee account is owned and controlled by the account's owner. To be able to view one's recovery account, there are three dots located beside the settings button when you use the PeakD. When you click on the buttons, it will reveal a list of options among which is the trustee account. 

After that, you click on account to which you want to change to. Then, you fill the necessary information needed. 

While setting this, it is important that your recovery account is someone you can easily access outside the hive blockchain. For me, I use my wife, @ministeringpen23.

When a new account is opened on the hive blockchain, there are important keys given to the owner.

They include:

1. ***The posting key***: This key is used for posting, commenting and upvoting. It's refered to as the engagement key. 

2. ***The active key***: this key is used for exchange. These exchanges include transfer of tokens and withdrawal on the hive blockchain. 

3. ***The owner key***: this key helps one to gain access into his account. 

4. ***The master key***: this one stands out as it is used in place of other keys in the case of an emergency. 

5. ***The memo key***: is used to decrypt encrypted messages and also used to translate messages.

If by mistake my hive keys are exposed, I will contact my trustee and move my asset to hers. Then, I will change my active key and be more careful so as not to repeat it again.
