While I got you here, one thing that I think Steemit needs is more secondary discussion in the comments.

But being Steemit the only thing that will drive those comments is votes, now while my comment didn't deserve the big bucks that your full vote would bring, you could vote 1% or whatever.

While this is clearly self serving here, I do think it would be beneficial to the community and increase the number of comments on posts if the person commenting were required to vote up or report with at least >0% of their voting power. 

I write this not to earn $2 here but in the hope that an idea like this would help steemit and therefore increase the value of my SP and make me $$$
