<p><div class="text-justify">Aunque Hank Mobley no fue un gran innovador, era un excelente músico, y este álbum es el mejor de los que publicó. Se trata de un trabajo de hard bop alegre, pero relajado, con un marcado énfasis en el blues, que fue grabado en los estudios del mítico ingeniero de sonido Rudy Van Gelden. <p><blockquote><div class="text-justify">Although Hank Mobley was not a great innovator, he was an excellent musician, and this album is the best he ever released. It’s an upbeat, but relaxed hard bop work, with a strong emphasis on blues, which was recorded in the studios of the legendary sound engineer Rudy Van Gelden. He is backed up by his former Jazz Messengers bandleader, drummer Art Blakey, and two future bandmates of mythical trumpeter Miles Davis: pianist Wynton Kelly and double bassist Paul Chambers. The four musicians had previously played together under different combinations, and therefore make up a well-synchronized and blended ensemble.</div></blockquote></p>

Hank is by far more exciting. Sinatra bores me. He was at his best with Tommy Dorsey.
