<b><center><h1>With the intent of building on Solid</h1></center>

I have tried to get myself excited about learning A programming language, let alone many, and each time I have tried over the past few years I have failed to follow through. Currently I have found myself in the midst of the course [Angular 6 (formerly Angular 2) - The Complete Guide](https://www.udemy.com/the-complete-guide-to-angular-2/) that is presented by Maximilian Schwarzmüller. He is fast and knows the keybindings so I find myself pausing the videos to finish inputting the various bits of data. A really cool benefit of the attempts at rapid typing is it is getting me to stop looking at the keyboard so much when I type, finally.

The reason I am diving into Angular is all due to the recent article which I [POSTED](https://steemit.com/dlike/@flemingfarm/tim-berners-lee-tells-us-his-radical-new-plan-to-upend-the-web) about regarding Tim Berners Lee and the development of the Solid platform. As soon as I read the article I went straight to [Inrupt.com](http://inrupt.com) which then led me to [Solid.Inrupt.com](http://solid.inrupt.com) below. I got my pod and went straight to the DOCS section.

"Writing solid applications with Angular" is the topic of a section in the documentation. Okay! That made my decision easy. I'll start in trying to learn Angular. I have a strong desire to build my site by utilizing my pod to store my key data and I have an idea for making my own app that will connect my phone to the pod so I can have access to my vault any time and have it pass-pin protected.

So I have this course and I am plowing through it as fast as the obnoxious 2 and 5 year allow me. The hardest part has been finding the time when I can concentrate on my learning, not only theirs. My mornings seems to be the best opportunity and I have gotten the most done then so far. I am able to post in the days since it doesn't require the focus and lack of distractions when I am trying to learn something new.

I got Visual Studio Code to use for my IDE and I am finding it to be a pretty nice program. The customizations for it are really extensive and as I am doing more with it I am getting it setup better. There  are a shit ton of options to config if you want, most of which I am not sure that I need to touch, so I 'm not. I really like the ability to have the project auto update in the browser when I have my server running. Makes making the changes a lot easier. My only problem is the dev console in firefox is not the same as chrome so trying to correlate what he shows in the videos to what I am seeing is tough. Otherwise I am starting to pick this up but I just have to keep doing it to keep it fresh in my head.
