<b>I was awake at 4 am yesterday morning, far too early. I know it was because I knew I had to go to town to get more grain but I had not hooked up the trailer when we had gotten back from dinner the prior night so I had to get the trailer ready in the dark at 4:30 am after the 1.5 inch of snow fell overnight.

First stop was to drop off the empty barrels from the prior day. The clouds and snow helped it be a lot brighter in the city.

Two half barrels awaited me at he other brewery which I combined into the one and loaded it into the bed of the truck. I only strap down even numbers of barrels on the trailer, odd numbers go in the truck.

Spokane is nice before the city comes alive with traffic and people and quiet after the snow cover.

I was home before 6am since I was out a bit earlier than most mornings and managed to get to soak by 6:30.

In just the half hour the morning light hit.

With J at school again and @stryeyz at work and while R watched Dinosaur Train I gathered all the things I will need for camping this weekend in the cave by the lake in the forest and snow. I laid everything out on the bed to make sure I had it all and let it sit for a while as I kept coming up with more little things to add.

I was a bit stoked this morning when I drove the truck in with the empty trailer since that meant I could try driving the trailer to its parking spot the normal way. I mobbed the truck through the snow and managed to get the trailer parked right where it normally goes.

I backed the truck into the sheep pen and shoveled out the barrel into a pile.

I turned my back to close the fence and when I looked up the birds were all milling around the warm pile of grain.

I got my pack filled and ready to go. I have but a couple things that are in my truck already that will go on it but otherwise I am packed for this afternoon. I spent time on the mandolin working on scales and chords more. I am having to sand my finger tips as the calluses have been getting rough and making it so I catch the strings. Probably be good to have a couple days without beating my finger tips up and let them heal a bit.

In the evening was wrestling practice again. It is wild watching them all running around like the little balls of energy they are.

This was forehead circling they started out with. J in the yellow shirt and R in the blue standing. R has a bit of trouble following what moves are being worked on but there are enough parents and coaches to point him in the right dir3ection.

R on the left in blue then J in yellow sitting next to his three classmates, 2 in red shirts and one in gray. I like that he has classmates wrestling so it can be a lot of fun for them as a group. Plus walking out of school yesterday he said to one of them, "see you at wrestling practice tonight". I like seeing that.

More takedown practice, this time working on getting the other person's back and holding the gable grip. Maybe three of the entire group remembered the name "gable grip" but they got the form after a few tries.

The last thing they worked on was full runs from standing position to take downs and the bottom person snapping to their stomachs. They started again and tried for the takedowns.

As soon as we got home we were just in time to catch @stryeyz before she got in the tub so we could all watch the new South Park episode which was nice and quintessential South Park where they made fun of everyone. The boys got to soak after rolling on the mats with R getting longer than he should have, but he doesn't have school today so it wasn't that bad.

Today I will be finishing packing then after picking J up from school I will be heading north to camp until Monday morning. I'm going to be trying to get out to soak mid day since I won't get to until Monday afternoon.
