I'm going to be blunt: I don't even know if Socialists know how to think anymore.

The "average rent" includes Manhatten and the Hamptons which throws the numbers off.

The rent costing less than a quarter of your income? Who the hell actually recommends that? I've chosen to live in big cities for most of my adult life, which means higher rents, and I've only made the better side of half the rent. Having two to three thousand dollars over the rent per month isn't fucking poverty.

If I can live in the most expensive city in the country, comfortably, at $13.35 an hour, stop telling me that we need to have a minimum wage of $15 an hour when that exceeds the median income in a lot of districts.

You're going to create a much larger homeless problem than you care to realize.
