The swimming fair</h3></strong>
The swimming fair was about to arrive in the city, everyone was preparing with great excitement. The most daring, fast and resistant are always rewarded in this fair, some even become great professional athletes to the point of being awarded in the Olympics. So, it was a big deal to participate in it.
When Billy was about 11 years old, no one had ever seen him swim and everyone assumed he didn't know how to swim. When they heard that the fair was coming up, most of them made fun of Billy because he wasn't going to be able to show off his puddle-swimming skills, as they called those who only went to the pool and stayed at the shallow end. With much regret, Billy really couldn't swim, so he decided to stay away from anything that represented water for a while until the fair was over.

The fair came to town! Olympic athletes came to town from all over the city and the hotels were bursting at the seams. Many followed the fair all over the country, trying to prove themselves. The events were of all kinds, cliff jumping, 10000 meter freestyle to test endurance, 100 free of all types of swimming to test speed, extreme diving for cardiopulmonary endurance. There was everything for everyone.
Was there really something for everyone? What about Billy @flquin? I'm on my way... The parents and his older sister went to the fair and took Billy almost obliged. This was his first fair, so it was very important for him to go even if he didn't know anything about it. Billy's sister would be measuring in the 10000 meter freestyle and believe it or not she was one of the toughest in town, several challenged her, but they didn't measure up. Billy's parents signed him up for <strong>Mag</strong>. He was very emphatic that he would drown, not to be forced to go. He begged them, but they wouldn't listen, they knew that if he didn't participate he would regret it his whole life.

Mag's event arrived and Billy nervously jumped into the pool. He stayed on the shore without letting go of the wall and suddenly a boy, who it seems had also been forced to enter, was drowning and instead of approaching the wall, he was moving away. Everyone watched, through the windows and some tried to get into Mag to help the little boy. Billy, knew they couldn't get there in time and almost by inertia he let go of the stop to help the little boy. He had seen his sister swim and knew that if anyone knew how to do things well it was her. So he tried to emulate her movements. Billy swallowed a lot of water, but with desperation and moving his arms in all directions he managed to stay afloat. He reached the boy and began to pull him little by little towards one of the banks. Billy was getting desperate and was already feeling fatigued, but he did not give up. They both reached the shore and the boy thanked Billy.
Billy looked up to see if anyone was already there to help them and was surprised that the place was packed. Everyone started congratulating him and chanting his name. His sister reached out to pull him out of the pool and gave him a big hug, she was very touched by what he did and the boy swam away from the shore, Billy was surprised by this "<em>looks like he was faking it after all</em>" thinks Billy. But, he didn't understand what was going on at all.

The fair director appeared from the crowd congratulating Billy who was still very confused. He held out his hand and said in front of everyone:
-<strong>YOU CAN SWIM</strong>! He explained that Mag is a pool designed for people like Billy, who don't have to prove anything to anyone and who against all odds fight to save someone's life.
-Billy, you are like Mag, you have a special magic. Without knowing how to swim you have been able to swim and save someone. Mag is just this place where professional athletes and people who can barely swim come to witness the magic. Mag has not disappointed us so far. Your family, friends and even bullings were right to recommend you for this event. You Billy, have met the challenge of challenges and for that all of us here congratulate you and want you to be part of our company, you already have everything it takes to be in it. You will learn the skills over time and you will choose the path you want to take.
-Let the Fair continue, let's let Billy rest, we must concentrate on the surroundings of the Howl cliff, to see the dives. There will be food and drink on site. The participants, they should be almost ready...
Billy was at a loss for words. I guess, he was still a bit shocked by what had just happened. It all seemed like a dream to him. His family and friends were so proud of him, they didn't have to go anywhere else, they wanted to be next to this little hero. The invitation from the director was already open, it only remained for Billy to make the decision to jump into the water again. But, surely this would happen when he came to his senses and clarified the hundreds of questions that were presented to him at that moment.
Thus began the story of Billy the boy <strong>who could swim</strong>, the pride of the city.

<strong><h3>La feria del nado</h3></strong>
La feria del nado estaba por llegar a la ciudad, todos se preparaban con gran emoción. Los más audaces, veloces y resistentes siempre son recompensados en esta feria, algunos hasta llegan a convertirse en grandes atletas profesionales al punto galardonarse en las olimpiadas. Así que, era algo muy importante participar en ella.
A Billy de unos 11 años nadie lo había visto nadar y todos supusieron que no sabía hacerlo. Cuando se enteraron que estaba por llegar la feria, la mayoría se burló de Billy porque no iba a poder mostrar sus dotes como nadador de charcos, así le decían a los que solo iban a la piscina y se quedaban en la parte baja. Con mucha pena, Billy de verdad no sabía nadar, así que decidió alejarse de todo lo que representara agua por un tiempo hasta que la feria terminara.

¡Llegó la feria a la ciudad! Todo fue una algarabía, atletas olímpicos llegaron a la ciudad y de todas partes, los hoteles ya no se daban basto. Muchos seguían a la feria por todo el país, tratando de probarse así mismos. Los eventos eran de todo tipo, saltado en acantilado, 10000 metros libres para probar la resistencia, 100 libres de todos los tipos de nado para probar la velocidad, buceo extremo para la resistencia cardiopulmonar. Había de todo y para todos.
¿@flquin de verdad había para todos? ¿qué hay de Billy? Ya voy para allá… Los padres y su hermana mayor fueron a la feria y llevaron casi que obligados a Billy. Esta era su primera feria, así que era muy importante que él fuera por más que no supiera nada. La hermana de Billy se mediría en los 10000 metros libres y aunque no lo crean era una de las mas resistentes de la ciudad, varios la retaban, pero no daban la talla. Los padres de Billy lo inscribieron en Mag. Él hizo mucho énfasis que se moriría ahogado, que no lo obligaran a ir. Les rogó, pero ellos no le hicieron caso, sabían que si no participaba se arrepentiría toda su vida.

El evento de Mag llegó y Billy con mucho nerviosismo ya se había metido en la piscina. Él se quedó en la orilla sin soltar la pared y de repente un niño que parece también lo habían obligado a entrar, se estaba ahogando y en vez de acercarse a la orilla, se alejaba. Todos miraban, a través de las ventanas y algunos trataron de entrar a Mag para ayudar al pequeño niño. Billy, sabía que no podían llegar a tiempo y casi por inercia se soltó de la pare para ayudar al pequeño niño. Él había visto a su hermana nadar y sabía que si alguien sabía hacer bien las cosas era ella. Así que trató de emular sus movimientos. Billy tragaba mucha agua, pero con desespero y moviendo sus brazos en todas direcciones lograba mantenerse a flote. Llegó a donde el niño y empezó a jalarlo poco a poco hacia una de las orillas. Billy se estaba desesperando y ya se sentía fatigado, pero no se rindió. Ambos llegaron a la orilla y el niño le agradeció a Billy.
Billy levanta la mirada para ver si ya había alguien para que los ayudara y se sorprende de que el lugar estuviese repleto. Todos empezaron a felicitarlo y a corear su nombre. Su hermana le tendió la mano para sacarlo de la piscina y le dio un gran abrazo, estaba muy conmovida por lo que hizo y el niño se alejó de la orilla nadando, Billy se sorprendió de esto “<em>parece que estaba fingiendo después de todo</em>” piensa Billy. Pero, no entendía que pasaba del todo.

El director de la feria apareció de entre la multitud que felicitaba a Billy quién seguía muy confundido. Le extendió la mano y dijo frente a todos:
-<strong>¡TÚ PUEDES NADAR!</strong> Explicó que Mag es una piscina ideada para personas como Billy, que no tienen que demostrarle nada a nadie y que en contra de todo pronóstico lucha para salvar la vida de alguien.
-Billy, tú eres como Mag, tienes una magia especial. Sin saber nadar has podido nadar y salvar a alguien. Mag es solo este lugar donde atletas profesionales y personas que apenas sabemos nadar venimos a presenciar la magia. Mag no nos ha decepcionado hasta el momento. Tú familia, amigos y hasta bullings tenían razón en recomendarte para este evento. Tú Billy, has vencido el desafío de los desafíos y por ello todos aquí te felicitamos y queremos que seas parte de nuestra compañía, ya tienes todo lo que se necesita para estar en ella. Las habilidades las aprenderás con el tiempo y tu escogerás el camino que quieras transitar.
-Que continúe la Feria, dejemos a Billy descansar, debemos concentrarnos en los alrededores del acantilado del Aullido, para ver los clavados. Habrá comida y bebida en el lugar. Los participantes, deben estar casi listos…
Billy no tenía palabras. Supongo, aún estaba algo conmocionado por lo apenas acontecido. Todo parecía un sueño para él. Su familia y amigos, se sentían muy orgullosos de él, no tenían que ir a otro lugar, querían estar a lado de ese pequeño héroe. Ya la invitación de parte del director estaba abierta, solo faltaba que Billy tomara nuevamente la decisión de lanzarse al agua. Pero, seguramente esto ocurriría cuando regresara en sí y aclarara las cientos de preguntas que se le presentaron en ese momento.
Así comenzó la historia de Billy el niño que si podía nadar, el orgullo de la ciudad.
