<div class="text-justify">If you are one of those who follow my publications, you may notice that my favorite plant in my garden is the Zamioculca, I love its vibrant green leaves, and it is one of the plants that I take care of the most, I have wanted to have one for a long time, and about two years ago my aunt gave me just a twig of this plant, of course she gave it to me in a small pot and over time I have been changing pots, and even now I have to change it again because it is already too small.

My surprise last night while talking to my father was that when I turned to see the tiger spider that is living in this plant, I found that it has a couple of flowers, same that are not at all flashy as the last flowers that I have shared with you, but they are certainly beautiful to me, both because they are the product of my favorite plant, as for its exotic form, they are similar to the calla lilies but with a light green color that makes it almost unnoticed.

I had never seen these plants with flowers, and even thought that because of the weather I would never see them bloom, in fact, my aunt, the one who gave me this plant, has never seen hers bloom. So, for me this is a very great joy, and one that I could not help but photograph to share with you.

This flower has a small spadix covered with tiny flowers of a lighter shade than what appears to be the leaf that surrounds it, or perhaps it is a petal, the truth is that they can hardly be seen, as they come out stuck from the stems of the plant, as if indeed they did not want to be seen.

For me they are quite a show, doing a little research, I discovered that this plant native to Africa, blooms every two years, same time that has this beauty with me, and blooms in mid-summer, just the climate in which we are now in my country, so, although for me it is a strange event, for my plant is something perfectly normal.

Now I just think I have to wait again two years to see it bloom again, or maybe it is time to multiply this plant so I can enjoy more of these flowers.

For a moment I thought that using selective color on these flowers, would be a waste of time, as it does not have a striking color to highlight, however, the result although not something shocking as with other photographs, is really good, after all highlighting a color however subtle it may be, in a black and white photograph will always make it stand out.

<div class="text-justify">Si eres de los que sigues mis publicaciones, podrás notar que mi planta favorita en todo mi jardín es la Zamioculca, me encantan sus hojas de un vibrante color verde, y es de las plantas que más cuido, desde hace mucho tiempo había querido tener una, y hace unos dos años mi tía me regalo apenas una ramita de esta planta, claro está me la regalo en una macetita mínima y con el tiempo la he ido cambiando de maceta, e incluso actualmente debo cambiarla nuevamente pues ya está que tiene le queda pequeña.

Mi sorpresa de anoche mientras hablaba con mi padre fue que al voltear al ver la araña tigre que se encuentra viviendo en esta planta, me encontré con que tiene un par de flores, mismas que no son para nada llamativas como las ultimas flores que les he compartido, pero que sin duda son hermosas para mí, tanto porque son producto de mi planta favorita, como por su exótica forma, son similares a las calas pero con un color verde claro que la hace pasar casi desapercibida.

Nunca había visto estas plantas con flores, e incluso pensé que por el clima no las vería florecer nunca, de hecho, mi tía, la que me regalo esta planta, nunca ha visto florecer la de ella. Así que, para mí esto es una alegría muy grande, y que no podía dejar de fotografiar para compartir con ustedes.

Esta flor posee un pequeño espádice cubierto de diminutas flores de un tono más claro que lo que parece ser la hoja que lo rodea, o tal vez sea un pétalo, lo cierto es que apenas pueden verse, pues salen pegadas de los tallos de la planta, como si en efecto no quisieran ser vistas.

Para mí son todo un espectáculo, investigando un poco, descubrí que esta planta originaria de África, florece cada dos años, mismo tiempo que tiene esta belleza conmigo, y florece a mediados del verano, justo el clima en el que estamos ahora en mi país, así que, aunque para mi es un evento extraño, para mi planta es algo perfectamente normal.

Ahora solo pienso que debo esperar nuevamente dos años para verla florecer nuevamente, o tal vez sea tiempo para multiplicar esta planta y así poder disfrutar de más flores de estas.

Por un momento pensé que utilizar color selectivo en estas flores, sería una pérdida de tiempo, pues no posee un color llamativo para resaltar, sin embargo, el resultado aunque no es algo impactante como con otras fotografías, es realmente bueno, después de todo resaltar un color por muy sutil que este sea, en una fotografía en blanco y negro siempre hará que este resalte.
