## On the back of Richard Heart’s tweet, we take a look at when the PulseChain mainnet may launch and why it’s so significant.

Are you wondering when [PulseChain (PLS)](https://leofinance.io/@crypto-guides/what-is-pulsechain-pls) will *finally* launch? 

Well, you're not alone.

There has been a lot of buzz surrounding the launch of PulseChain, the newest blockchain project founded by Richard Heart. 

Now, Heart has tweeted that the launch of PulseChain and PulseX could happen "[at any time now without warning.](https://twitter.com/RichardHeartWin/status/1640102547988905985?s=20)"

It's cryptic, weird and quite frankly, typical Heart.

But that's not stopping the buzz and certainly not discouraging the project’s early followers from getting excited!

Now, let me start by saying my take on this is that Richard Heart is a weirdo and anything that he says and does should be taken with a grain of salt.

In saying that however, there's no denying that he's an amazing marketer. 

The hype the man generates around whatever he says or does is always huge and that's precisely why the launch of PulseChain is being hyped so much. 

So buckle up and let's get into the post.


### What is PulseChain (PLS)?
Before we talk about the PulseChain mainnet launch, let’s give ourselves a little refresher.

PulseChain is the latest blockchain project founded by Richard Heart, the creator of HEX. 

It aims to be a faster and cheaper alternative to Ethereum, making it easier for users to deploy decentralised applications (dApps). 

PulseChain will use the same smart contract functionality as Ethereum.

But with a goal of offering better scalability, higher throughput and lower fees.

The native token of PulseChain is PLS and just like ETH, it will be used for various purposes including:
* Staking
* Transaction fees
* Governance

Stakers will be rewarded with PLS for helping to secure the network and validating transactions. 

PLS will also be used to incentivise users to participate in the network and contribute to its growth. 


### Why is the PulseChain mainnet launch being hyped
The launch of the PulseChain mainnet no doubt has some serious hype around it. 

It promises to be (self proclaimed of course lol) a game-changer for the decentralised finance (DeFi) industry by offering faster transaction speeds and lower fees compared to other blockchain platforms.

The mainnet is the backbone of the PulseChain ecosystem. 

Put simply, it's the live version of the blockchain network that users can actually use and interact with. 

The hype surrounding the launch of PulseChain's mainnet has been palpable in some quarters of the crypto community. 

Many investors are eagerly anticipating its release due to the potential benefits it could offer. 

One such benefit is of course the opportunity to make money from the native token of the blockchain, PLS. 

Hex, Richard Heart's previous project, saw early investors turn into millionaires and many are hoping that PLS will replicate that success.

Additionally, the launch of PulseChain's mainnet could pose a significant threat to Ethereum. 

It has the potential to at least alleviate some of the scaling issues that Ethereum has faced, offering faster and cheaper transactions. 

Richard Heart, the founder of PulseChain, is no stranger to creating hype around his projects. 

He is known for his marketing prowess, which has led many to question his motives and the legitimacy of his projects. 

Nevertheless, crypto isn’t known for its common sense and the market remains optimistic about the potential success of PulseChain.


### Will PulseChain beat Ethereum after launch?
As we've seen, the upcoming launch of PulseChain has generated some significant buzz. 

Enough buzz to have some suggesting that PulseChain could eventually surpass Ethereum as the top smart contract platform. 

Lol.

But is this really a realistic possibility, or just more hype from Richard Heart and his supporters?

Quite frankly it's hard to see how PulseChain could realistically beat Ethereum after launch. 

While it may have some advantages in terms of speed and cost, it will be starting from scratch in terms of network effects and developer adoption. 

Ethereum has a massive head start in these areas and it seems unlikely that PulseChain will be able to catch up anytime soon.

Moreover, we should be very critical of any claims made by Richard Heart and his team. 

Heart has a history of making bold, unsubstantiated claims about his projects and their potential. 

He has been accused of running scams in the past and there are many sceptics who are wary of his latest venture. 

While it's always possible that PulseChain could surprise us and become a major player in the crypto space…

You should be very cautious about buying into the hype.

**Richard Heart's tweet suggests that PulseChain could launch in the next couple of days.**
