I am thinking of you, my dear daughter, holding the full moon in your hand, still traveling where I was already and not finding what I once enjoyed, but now scattered. Because I was looking for a greater miracle, for a shiny treasure, and threw away gray pebbles. But those stones were a miracle.

My heart was broken by cynicism. I would like to dream, but I am no longer able. My rational mind only understands numbers and evidence. But are there numbers that indicate longing?
