Amigos míos, les cuento algo muy bonito que me pasó y es que por fin después de 1 año y medio esperando **¡Me gradué!**. Pasó de todo y se los resumiré para  que vivan conmigo ese gran momento y revivan el suyo o se lo imaginen.

Hace 6 años comencé a estudiar Comunicación Social en la universidad del Zulia, siempre estuve bien parada y sabía lo que quería estudiar, así que con mucha emoción comencé mi viaje. No fue nada fácil ya qué, son seis largos años dónde nos dedicamos a estudiar, trabajar, buscar dinero, nos enfermamos, corremos salimos, conocemos, luchamos y en momentos nos queremos rendir pero con constancia anhelamos el último día y lo logramos, eso pasó conmigo, sin embargo la pandemia nos paró un año y medio la graduación y por fin hace una semana me gradué, ahora soy licenciada. Una mujer con 23 años un hogar, una carrera y un gran trabajo, no es fácil y aún así aquí estoy ilesa y feliz.

> Six years ago I started studying Social Communication at the University of Zulia, I was always well standing and I knew what I wanted to study, so with a lot of excitement I started my journey. It was not easy at all because, it is six long years where we dedicate ourselves to study, work, look for money, we get sick, we run, we go out, we know, we know, we fight and at times we want to give up but with constancy we long for the last day and we achieve it, that happened with me, however the pandemic stopped us a year and a half the graduation and finally a week ago I graduated, now I am a graduate. A woman with 23 years, a home, a career and a great job, it is not easy and yet here I am unharmed and happy.

En mis años de estudiante sufrí bastante entre no tener pasajes, caminar, dejar cosas botadas, perderme en buses, tener amigos, abandonar amigos, faltar a clases por cuestiones de salud, perder clases por culpa de un profesor, enamorarme, considerar amigos como familia, ver morir a un mejor amigo, y así se acumulan muchas cosas qué no podría contar tantas porque ocuparía demasiado espacio, pero la vida universitaria es un caos.

> In my student years I suffered a lot between not having tickets, walking, leaving things behind, getting lost in buses, having friends, abandoning friends, missing classes due to health issues, missing classes because of a professor, falling in love, considering friends as family, seeing a best friend die, and so many things that I could not count so many because it would take up too much space, but college life is chaos.

Ahora qué cerré el capítulo de estudiante me siento rara, mayor, y en el limbo, estoy en ese momento donde no sé qué hacer, no sé que estudiar, si es que quiero estudiar de nuevo, no sé en qué trabajar ya qué el periodismo en Venezuela no es muy bien dado, ni muy bien pagado y muy censurado pero tampoco soy fanática del periodismo mi fuerte es la fotografía y qué puedo utilizar mi voz para hacer cualquier cosa cómo campañas publicitarias, videos, entre otros, entonces con unos días apenas de recibir título ya debo empezar a cuestionarme y a plantear que quiero realmente y que haré porque estoy en un momento donde ya no puedo perder tiempo y dónde los años están pasando rápido aparte de que me dedico a mi hogar y a mi pareja y también dedico tiempo y esfuerzo a Hive, así qué por ahora estoy bien y acomodandome a .i nueva etapa.

> Now that I closed the student chapter I feel strange, old, and in limbo, I am in that moment where I do not know what to do, I do not know what to study, if I want to study again, I do not know what to work in since journalism in Venezuela is not very well given, not very well paid and very censored but I am not a fan of journalism my forte is photography and I can use my voice to do anything like advertising campaigns, videos, among others, So with just a few days of receiving my degree I have to start questioning myself and ask myself what I really want and what I will do because I am in a moment where I can no longer waste time and where the years are passing fast, besides that I dedicate myself to my home and my partner and I also dedicate time and effort to Hive, so for now I'm fine and getting used to my new stage. i new stage.

Fuera de todo eso, la pasé bien anhelé el día de mi graduación por 6 años,y quería que fuera el mejor. Me levanté a las 6 am y desde esa hora le escribí a mis papás y la primera noticia que me dieron es que papá se sentía mal y tenía arritmia (deficiencias en el corazón) cuando él amanece así se pone mal, y yo me puse triste quería verlos ahí a ambos, a las 7 AM ya en el teatro entré y Juan también, pero mis papás no se reportaban y me tenían preocupada, pasaron 40 minutos y seguían sin responderme llamadas ni mensajes, me preocupé aún más pensando en cualquier cosa con respecto a mi papá, estaba muy triste y me puse a llorar pero ya no podía hacer nada porque yo estaba dentro y estaba por comenzar el acto. A 2 personas de mi puesto alguien murmuró que iban entrando las autoridades para comenzar el acto y cuando miré a las puertas eran mis papás muy bien vestidos, así que casi me levanto y corro a abrazarlos pero me detuve y los saludé  con la mano, mi cara cambió totalmente,tenía frío, nervios,más ganas de llorar de la felicidad y ganas de llorar porque estaban allí para verme y los tenía vivos. Comenzó el acto.

> Other than that, I had a great time. I had been looking forward to my graduation day for 6 years, and I wanted it to be the best. I woke up at 6 am and from that time I wrote to my parents and the first news they gave me was that dad was feeling bad and had arrhythmia (heart deficiencies) when he wakes up like that he gets bad, and I was sad I wanted to see them both there, at 7 am I went into the theater and Juan too, but my parents did not report and I was worried, 40 minutes went by and they still did not answer my calls or messages, I got even more worried thinking about anything regarding my dad, I was very sad and I started to cry but I could not do anything because I was inside and the act was about to begin. Two people away from my place someone whispered that the authorities were coming in to start the ceremony and when I looked at the doors they were my parents very well dressed, so I almost got up and ran to hug them but I stopped and waved them, my face changed completely, I was cold, nervous, I wanted to cry because of happiness and I wanted to cry because they were there to see me and I had them alive. The act began.

Cuándo faltaban dos personas para entregarme el título me temblaban mucho las piernas y me puse a llorar, con la misma sequé mis lágrimas, me levanté y subí las escaleras, luego de que la rectora de la universidad me entregará el título en la tarima, volteé los vi y fue tanta la emoción que levante las manos y agité mi título, todos aplaudieron con mucho amor, y yo con una sonrisa bajé las escaleras con las piernas temblando y me fui a sentar con tanta felicidad que no me lo podía creer.

> When there were two people left to give me my degree, my legs were shaking and I started to cry, I dried my tears with the same water, I got up and went up the stairs, after the rector of the university gave me the degree on the stage, I turned around and saw them and was so excited that I raised my hands and waved my degree, everyone applauded with love, and with a smile I went down the stairs with my legs shaking and I went to sit down with so much happiness that I could not believe it.

Finalizado el acto nos tomamos fotos, abracé a mis amigos y me fui a comer con mis papás, hace un mes estaba estresada por la plata que gastaría y hace una semana con esfuerzos puro y limpio conseguí el dinero para poder invitarlos a comer sin ponerles límites, sino que se sintieran felices y libres de comer lo que quisieran, fuimos a un restaurante y la pasamos muy bien y estuvimos felices.

> After the ceremony we took pictures, I hugged my friends and went to eat with my parents, a month ago I was stressed about the money I would spend and a week ago with pure and clean efforts I got the money to be able to invite them to eat without putting limits, but they felt happy and free to eat whatever they wanted, we went to a restaurant and we had a great time and we were happy.

Para finalizar mi gran día mis papás con esfuerzo me regalaron un anillo de graduación y junto a mis tías y abuela, me prepararon una sorpresa que incluyó globos decorados, ramos de flores, pasapalos, torta, chucherías, detalles, y a un cantante que adoro de música merengue bomba que nos dedicó canciones y nos hizo bailar, yo admito que lloré como nunca. Me hizo muy feliz saber que estaban muy orgullosos de mí a pesar de que mis papás son tan secos para demostrar sus sentimientos, los vi bailando como nunca, mi papá se sintió mejor, disfrutó con mi abuela, mis tías, con mis hermanas y todos están muy alegres, yo soy la tercera licenciada en la familia y sé que mis primos están estudiando y que también seré un ejemplo para mis hermanos menores, además de qué mi pareja nunca me abandonó ni me soltó la mano en ningún momento.

> To end my big day my parents with effort gave me a graduation ring and together with my aunts and grandmother, they prepared a surprise for me that included decorated balloons, bouquets of flowers, snacks, cake, sweets, details, and a singer I adore of merengue bomba music who dedicated songs to us and made us dance, I admit I cried like never before. I was very happy to know that they were very proud of me even though my parents are so dry to show their feelings, I saw them dancing like never before, my dad felt better, he enjoyed with my grandmother, my aunts, my sisters and everyone is very happy, I am the third graduate in the family and I know that my cousins are studying and that I will also be an example for my younger brothers, plus my partner never left me or let go of my hand at any time.

Estudien, no porque los demás les digan, ni para complacer a nadie, ni mucho menos algo que no quieren, estudien por ustedes porque es su sueño, porque lo quieren lograr, porque realmente les gusta lo que hacen. Un abrazo, los quiero.
