소록대교가 보이는 전라도 고흥의 바닷가 마을

<p>멀리 보이는 다리가 소록대교입니다.<br>
사진을 찍은 곳은 고흥군 도양읍의 동봉이란 바닷가 작은 마을입니다.</p>
<p>서울 근교에 살던 제가 지금의 아내를 만나면서 10년전 첫 인사를 드리러 가는데 네비로 찍으니 장장 430km가 나왔습니다.<br>
허거거걱...가장 멀리 운전해본게 200km를 넘지 않았던거 같은데 며칠전부터 잠이 오지 않았었습니다.<br>
그나마 이것도 도로가 잘 뚫려서 가까워진거라고 하더군요.<br>
아내가 서울에서 대학 다닐때는 집에가려면 거의 10시간을 버스타고 갔다고 합니다.</p>
<p>그렇게 엄청난 거리를 운전해서 첫 인사를 드리러 갔었고 결혼해서 지금은 일년에 몇번씩 가는 곳이 되었습니다.</p>

<p>한센병 환우의 아픔이 서린 작고 아름다운 섬이고 섬의 모양이 어린 사슴과 비슷하다 해서 소록도라 불립니다.<br>
이 섬은 한센병 환자를 위한 국립소록도병원이 있고, 가보면 일제식민지 시절의 아픔의 흔적이 담겨 있습니다.<br>
아직도 약 700여 명의 한센병 환자들과 의료진, 자원봉사자들이 살아가는 생활공간이라 여느 관광지의 흥겨움이나 소란스러움은 어울리지 않는다고 합니다.</p>

<p>처가집이지만 저는 이 곳이 너무 마음에 듭니다.<br>
그래서 항상 여름휴가는 처가집이고, 아예 내려와서 살고 싶은 생각이 많습니다.<br>
농사짓고, 바다일도 하면서 살고 싶습니다.<br>
(아내가 아주 적극적으로 반대해서 이뤄지기 힘들지만...)</p>
<p>나로호 우주센터가 있어서 아이들 과학, 항공 교육도 괜찮습니다.<br>
몇몇 해수욕장은 작고 아름다운 곳이 있구요.<br>

사실 돈이 적더라도 좋은 곳은 많거든요. 지금 생활 환경을 벗어나는데 제약이 많아서 그런듯 싶습니다. 아내 반대만 아니면 언제든 내려가서 살고 싶습니다.
