Greetings, my fellow **Hive Blockchain** enthusiasts. I'm going with a new post about [CryptoPick](https://cryptopick.net/i/pVsGZeaa), a **PlayToEarn** game in which we can practice as if we were doing live trading. Remember that in this game, we face other players in a duel, competing based on our predictions of the **Bitcoin** price variation in real-time, placing bets on **Short** price positions, which wants that the price should go down or **Long**, which is when we predict that the price will go up. It is a free game, but with the possibility of earning interesting rewards in **Ethereum** and **NFTs**.

# Events, Battles, and New NFTs in CryptoPick
I really like [CryptoPick](https://cryptopick.net/i/pVsGZeaa) because it is a fairly simple game, but at the same time fun and very exciting. By competing in the different game modes, we can win **Pickies**, an internal currency that will soon work as an interchangeable token and also **Ethereum**, in the **Duel** mode and depending on how we finish at the end of each season. These end each day at 07:00 pm (Venezuela time) and, immediately the **CPR (CryptoPick Ranking)** statistics are reset for the new classification for the prizes. It has the added bonus that we can obtain avatars in **NFT** cards that we can collect, sell or exchange through the MarketPlace of [Venly](https://venly.market/inventory) and [OpenSea](https://opensea.io/collection/cryptopick). These **NFT** operate on the [Polygon](https://polygon.technology/) network, so we will be able to link and keep them in our [MATIC](https://matic.network/) token wallets, which will allow us very fast and low-cost transactions.

Al competir en las diferentes modalidades del juego, podemos ganar **Pickies**, una moneda interna y que pronto funcionara como un token intercambiable y también **Ethereum**, en la modalidad de **Duelo** y según como finalicemos al final de cada temporada. Estas finalizan cada día a las 07:00 pm (hora de Venezuela) y, de inmediato se restablecen las estadísticas de **CPR (CryptoPick Ranking)** para la nueva clasificación por los premios. Tiene el añadido de que podemos obtener avatares en tarjetas **NFT** que podemos coleccionar, vender o intercambiar a través de los MarketPlace de [Venly](https://venly.market/inventory) y [OpenSea](https://opensea.io/collection/cryptopick). ### XMas NFT Hunt Event
In recent days, the [XMas NFT Hunt](https://cryptopick.medium.com/announcement-the-cryptopick-xmas-nft-hunt-winners-d588c5b2f65b) competition took place, a community activity where we gathered several players to compete for interesting and fabulous prizes. It is an event that was held live and had an enthusiastic attendance, including myself. It was an exciting competition, where we battled it out in a total of five matchups to try to finish with the highest **CPR** score possible. I'm still not sure where I finished in this event, but I did manage to get a **Full NFT Set** from the **Give Lab** campaign. This consisted of the three parts that make up the **Xmas ELF** avatar and which is of the **Rare** type. This **NFT** has acceptable stats that influence the avatar's profit multipliers and I was able to tokenize it through a very simple process.

>En días pasados, se efectuó la competencia [XMas NFT Hunt](https://cryptopick.medium.com/announcement-the-cryptopick-xmas-nft-hunt-winners-d588c5b2f65b), una actividad comunitaria donde nos reunimos varios jugadores a competir por interesantes y fabulosos premios. Es un evento que se realizó en vivo y que contó con una entusiasta asistencia, entre los que me incluyo. Fue una emocionante competencia, donde batallamos en un total de cinco enfrentamientos para tratar de terminar con el mayor puntaje de **CPR** posible. Aún no tengo claro en que posición termine en este evento, pero si logre obtener un **Set completo NFT** de la campaña **Give Lab**. Este consistió en las tres partes que conforman el avatar **Xmas ELF** y el cual es del tipo **Rare**. Este **NFT** tiene estadísticas aceptables que influyen en los multiplicadores de ganancias del avatar y lo pude tokenizar a través de un proceso muy sencillo.

### PickyCup Event
This past January 21st, a new community competition took place in **CryptoPick**. It was the **PickyCup**, which is an activity that takes place on several occasions and allows us to share and demonstrate our skills against other players in a live broadcast and battle. We gathered a little over 50 players and it was a very rewarding experience. We haven't had the results yet, so I'm not sure if I got any new prizes. There were three matches, where in the first battle I finished in 39th place, in the second, I finished again in 39th place and in the third, luck was with me and I finished in 25th place. Although the event took place in the middle of the **Bitcoin** price drop, each battle lasts only 5 minutes and the price variation in that time is only one minute, so there are many small variations both up and down, which makes it quite complicated to make a correct prediction. And this is what makes the game exciting, that adrenaline that invades you when you notice that your prediction materializes and you start winning points or when the price goes against you and the counter turns red, indicating that you are going to lose. At that moment, you ask whoever it is ***please change direction for God's sake!*** It is very exciting indeed.
>### Evento PickyCup
>Este pasado 21 de enero, se efectuó una nueva competencia comunitaria en **CryptoPick**. Se trató de la **PickyCup**, la cual es una actividad que se realiza en varias oportunidades y nos permite compartir y demostrar nuestras habilidades contra otros jugadores en una transmisión y batalla en directo. Nos reunimos un poco más de 50 jugadores y fue una experiencia muy gratificante. Aún no hemos tenido los resultados, por lo que no estoy seguro de si obtuve algún nuevo premio. Fueron tres encuentros, donde en la primera batalla termine en el puesto 39, en la segunda, finalice de nuevo en el puesto 39 y en la tercera, la suerte me acompaño y termine en el puesto 25. A pesar de que el evento se realizó en plena caída del precio del **Bitcoin**, cada batalla dura solo 5 minutos y la variación de los precios en ese lapso es de solo un minuto, por lo que hay muchas variaciones pequeñas tanto al alza como a la baja, por lo cual, se hace bastante complicado hacer una predicción correcta. Y esto es lo que hace emocionante al juego, esa adrenalina que te invade cuando notas que tu predicción se materializa y comienzas a ganar puntos o cuando el precio se te viene en contra y el contador se te coloca en rojo, indicando que vas a perder. En ese momento, uno le pide a quien sea ***¡por favor, cambia de dirección por Dios!*** Es muy emocionante realmente.

I maintain my confidence in [CryptoPick](https://cryptopick.net/i/pVsGZeaa) as an excellent alternative in **PlayToEarn** games without investment, but with many possibilities. I like the fact that the developers and those responsible for running the platform, always keep the community enthusiastic about the game. Not only through these competitions, but also through **Discord**, where every month they hold an [AMA (Ask Me Anything)](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdeKOBeolmrzKP0RLrvaNpo06khjy8wD0q7-7XeqT3f2DClAQ/viewform) session, in which we can express our opinions, concerns, and recommendations directly with them. This coming January 24, they have offered us the revelation of a new update for the platform, so we will have more reasons to trust in their work. They continue growing, innovating, and offering improvements and alternatives to make this game a great platform.

### New NFTs and New Statistics

With the last three **NFT** cards I won in **Xmas NFT Hunt**, I now have a total of **15 NFTs** in this game. My **ClawPower** increased slightly to 57 and I am now at level 5 and a multiplication factor of 3X, that is, halfway up the total table of these stats. Let's wait and see if I manage to get my hands on any prizes in this latest competition, although the prizes here are a bit more limited. I really like this **Xmas ELF** avatar and so I have it equipped. I did a check on the approximate prices of these pieces I own and found that my collection could be worth around **$150**. It may not be much, but I am very happy with these **NFT** and for now, I have not thought about selling them. I will be watching this coming Monday find out what's new from the **CryptoPick** development team. I will also post some interesting links, which will allow you not only to join the platform but also to learn about all the work that goes on in this great **PlayToEarn**.

Hice un revisión de los precios aproximados de estas piezas que poseo y descubrí que mi colección podría tener un valor aproximado a los **$150**. Quizás no sea mucho, pero estoy muy contento con estos **NFT** y por ahora no he pensado en venderlos. Estaré atento este próximo lunes para descubrir las novedades que nos traen el equipo de desarrollo de **CryptoPick**.
