if you can get PAID to post your content on Steem, why in the world would you continue posting elsewhere?
you wouldn't.

how could Steem NOT be the future?

Would you rather:

a)  post your content for free.
  
b)  post your content and get paid for it.
  
no brainer.

Plus, I feel this platform is lacking the trolls that many other platforms have.  There's no hostility or negativity around these parts, which of course is because it's a paid system, and no one's going to upvote a rude or hate-filled comment, but it's not just that - the users here are more mature, in my personal opinion.

Steem is the future!

A comment that can compliment a post with some value can make you a nice little amount also. Actually giving your opinion or  leaving a comment that can just add to the content of a post is way better than the "nice post" comment.
