Era una tarde soleada cuando Miqueas se dirigió a la plaza, tenía curiosidad por los rumores que circulaban. Desde hace años quería averiguar bien, pero la edad y sus ocupaciones nunca lo habían permitido.

Caminaba, pero su mente era un torbellino de preguntas. "Responde con sí o no para demostrar que puede hablar, pero se niega a hacerlo por ordinario. Por qué será" se decía, mientras se acercaba a la plaza.

Llegó y observó todo normal, pensó que habría algún tipo de algarabia o alboroto, pero no fue así, era en su mente donde estaba el alboroto. Disimulando para no quedar en evidencia, se paró diagonal a la casa de Martina, donde estaban los bancos, al lado del busto del procer.

Fue allí cuando la vio. Estaba sentada con un libro en las manos y bebía algo parecido a un té.

Miqueas se mantuvo observante y notó a varias personas acercarse a Angerona. Hablaban todos con ella, pero ella guardaba silencio. Eso le intrigaba.

Por eso varias noches y durante ratos del día se trepaba las paredes y la vigilaba, se aprovechó de un cuadro que estaba en una de las paredes para ubicarse en las ventanas y no reflejar su imagen en los espejos,  quería saber cómo vivía, lo que hacía y qué secretos guardaba.

Iba registrando sus visitas y los días pasaban. Angerona compartía, jugaba, leía y atendía la casa, pero no hablaba.

Siempre tenía visitas, habían amigos, visitantes y familiares en esa casa, pocas veces estaba sola y aún así ella no hablaba. Miqueas observaba menos, porque se aburría de no hallar nada extraordinario.
>She always had visitors, there were friends, visitors and relatives in that house, she was seldom alone and yet she Angerona did not speak. Micah watched less, because he got more bored with not finding anything extraordinary.

El tiempo transcurrió y Miqueas comenzó a sentirse cercano. Tanto que un día estaba tomándole el té y compartiendo con ella, se fue olvidando de aquello que tanto le intrigaba.
>Time passed and Micah began to feel close. So much so that one day he was drinking her tea and sharing with her, he was forgetting what intrigued him so much.

Todo volvió a la normalidad para Miqueas. El pueblo, su gente y Angerona, hasta él la visitaba cual familiar o amigo.
>Everything returned to normal for Micah. The town, her people and Angerona, even he visited her as a family member or friend.

Así sucedía hasta que tomando el té Miqueas observó el cuadro de la sala, algo le llamó la atención. Parecían imágenes moviéndose, se acercó y sintió su cuerpo moverse hacia la pintura.
>This was the case until Micah, having tea, looked at the painting in the living room, something caught his attention. They looked like moving images, he leaned closer and felt his body move towards the painting.

Angerona sonreía y diciendo el nombre de Miqueas lo llevó a la pintura, donde él espera que ella no vuelva a hablar.
