Este fin de semana seguimos con las carreras de las categorías más importantes del Deporte Motor. Tal es el caso, la Fórmula 1 correrá este domingo lo que es el Gran Premio de España en Barcelana. ¿Será que nuevamente se impune Max Verstappen con su imponente RedBull? o ¿Checo Pérez vuelve nuevamente al triunfo luego de un catastrófico Gran Premio de Mónaco?, ¿Finalmente Fernando Alonso logrará su triunfo 33 en la máxima categoría? Estas son unas interrogantes que dejo planteadas en torno a esta carrera. Por otro lado tenemos el Rally de Italia del campeonato mundial de rallies que se está disputando en estos momentos y de la cual les voy hablar un poco, y como siempre dando mi opinión, pero sin dejar el análisis de un lado. Por último este domingo 04 de Junio de 2023 se estará disputando la fecha número 15 del calendario regular 2023 de la serie de la copa NASCAR en WWT Raceway, lo que anteriormente se conocía como el óvalo de Gateway. Sin lugar a duda, estas tres competencias son muy importantes para cada una de sus campeonatos.

Debo confesar que esta temporada de la F1 está siendo cada vez más aburrida con el dominio claro del equipo RedBull y esto quedó demostrado en el anterior Gran Premio de Mónaco, cuando el español Fernando Alonso quedó muy por detrás de Max Verstappen, aunque con estrategias diferentes, tal vez con igualdad de condiciones, se fuese dado una lucha por la victoria de esta carrera. Lo cierto es que por segunda semana consecutiva (fuese sido tres, pero se debió cancelar el Gran Premio de Emilia-Romaña por las inundaciones en la zona) donde la categoría reina tiene carrera y en esta oportunidad es en Barcelona, España, en el circuito de Cataluña. </div> 

Este es uno de los Gran Premio más esperado, porque los equipos suelen traer actualizaciones importantes de cara a lo que resta de la temporada, normalmente los equipos luego de esta carrera son pocas las actualizaciones que traen luego, ya que se concentra más en el auto del año siguiente. Hasta el momento se han disputado dos entrenamientos libres, con un dominio de parte de Max Verstappen en ambas, pero esto apenas son prácticas, pero aun así se ve como el campeonato se mantiene igual, una clara ventaja de RedBull con el resto de los equipos. Esto puede cambiar en lo que resta de fin de semana, pero lo veo poco probable. Todas las esperanzas de los fanáticos que quieren lucha en este campeonato, tenemos la fe puesta en las mágicas manos del piloto local, Fernando Alonso, quien en la primera práctica quedo sexto a más de nueve décimas del piloto de Países Bajos (Max Verstappen), mientras que en la segunda y última sesión del día, Fernando fue segundo a un poco más de una décima, por lo cual aún hay esperanza de que las cosas cambien.

This weekend we continue with the races of the most important categories of motorsport. Por otro lado tenemos al campeonato mundial de rally (WRC) que desde el día de ayer jueves 01 de Junio de 2023 está corriendo el Rally de Italia 2023 en Sardegna. Esta es la fecha 6 de 13 del campeonato. Hasta el momento el líder campeonato es K. ROVANPERÄ del equipo Toyota, quien acumula 98 puntos, mientras que Ott Tanak es segundo con 81 puntos y Sébastien Ogier es tercero con 69 puntos. Este último no ha participado en todas las fechas del actual campeonato por lo cual hay que destacar aún más que se mantiene entre los tres primeros. 19 son el total de etapas que se deben disputar en este Rally y hasta el momento se han dado 7 en dos días de actividad, liderando Esapekka Lappi, por apenas una décima sobre el 8 veces campeón Sébastien Ogier. Hasta el momento ha sido un rally muy cerrado y se espera que se defina en el segundo día. Aún resto el día de mañana sábado y las 4 etapas del domingo, incluyendo el Power Stage.

El finlandés Kalle Rovanperä, actual líder del campeonato, hasta el momento marcha cuarto en la tabla general de tiempo, donde ha terminado un poco más de 27 segundos con respecto a Lappi. Por otro lado tenemos a Thierry Neuville, piloto Belga de Rally, del equipo Hyundai quien es uno de los pilotos favoritos para quedarse con este Rally de Italia. Neuville esta tercera en la general, retrasado por apenas 18.5 segundos con respecto al líder. Una de las cosas que más me encanta de este Rally a parte de la competencia, es el hecho que podemos apreciar hermosos paisajes mientras estamos disfrutando de la competencia. Este Rally de Italia en Sagderna es de superficie grava y como les había dicho anteriormente son un total de 19 etapas, con un recorrido de 320.99 kilómetros de especial. Para esta competencia cada piloto cuenta con 28 juegos de neumáticos, entre duros y más suaves, además de 4 compuestos extras para la etapa inicial, el Shakedown. 

Para esta competencia del Rally de Italia del WRC en lo personal tengo un motivación extra para estar atento de esta competencia y es el hecho que tenemos la participación nuevamente del Hiver, Slaven Šekuljica, quien está patrocinando nuestra plataforma en los lugares más importantes del campeonato mundial de rally. Šekuljica se encuentra compitiendo en la categoría RC5, con su coche Clio RS Line, quien posee logos de la blockchain #Hive. Hasta el momento el piloto de Croacia marcha en la posición 63 en la general de tiemposa, más de 4 horas del líder, pero sabemos que está en inferioridad de condiciones con respecto a los mejores autos. Sin embargo de su categoría es quien marcha mejor, además de también haber superados a otros pilotos RC2, RC3 y RC4. En general esto es un apenas lo que he podido saber de sus actuación, para la siguiente oportunidad le tendré más detalles.

Por último la tercera competencia importante de la cual les voy hablar hoy es la  fecha 15 de la serie de la copa NASCAR en Gateway. Luego de la semana pasada haber corrido la carrera más larga del calendario, esta semana volvemos a una carrera de 300 millas, es decir, la mitad de la distancia que la anterior carrera. El día sábado 03 de Junio de 2023 se dará tanto a la única práctica libre a 45 minutos, como la clasificación, mientras que la carrera es el día domingo. Las vueltas totales de esta competencia son 240, divididos en los habituales tres segmentos, el primero a 45, el segundo 95 y el tercero a 100 vueltas. La semana pasada el ganador en Charlotte fue Ryan Blaney, pero para esta carrera no lo veo con muchas posibilidades, aunque en NASCAR todo se puede dar.

***World Wide Technology Raceway*** (WWT Raceway) que anteriormente se conocía como "Gateway International Raceway y Gateway Motorsports Park) es un óvalo situado en St. Louis, Missouri, Estados Unidos. El mismo posee una longitud de 1.250 millas (2.012 km), con 4 curvas, donde 1 y 2 tienen un peralte de 11°, mientras que la 3 y 4 es de 9°. Es una pista prácticamente plana, que para ser sincero no es de mis favoritas, las carreras me parecen un poco tediosas.  Chase Briscoe posee la vuelta más rápida en esta pista, al hacer un tiempo de 32.528 segundo (138.342 mph), en la carrera del año pasado y en carrera el mejor tiempo es para Kyle Busch con un giro de 33.192 segundos, logrado también el año pasado, cuando la serie mayor de NASCAR corrió por primera vez en esta pista. Anteriormente se corría era la Xfinity Series (segunda división nacional) y la serie de las camionetas (tercera división nacional).

El ganador del año pasado en esta carrera fue Joey Logano del auto 22 Ford del equipo Penske. Mientras que la pole fue para Chase Briscoe. La verdad es que en esta pista no tenemos mucha información, al menos en la serie de la copa, ya que esta apenas es la segunda carrera.
