¡Buenas mis panas! Bienvenidos a otro publicación de Battlefield 1, si, sigo amando el juego y no creo que vaya a cambiar muy pronto hahah, aunque en esta oportunidad, y al haber logrado cubrir toda la campaña, ahora lo que queda, es comentar los aspectos del multijugador, sin embargo, al tratarse de un juego con temática histórica, me resulta de un atractivo tremendo comentarles la situación que reflejaban estos mapas en la realidad, pues como saben , cada uno de ellos, esta basado en los eventos que se vivieron en la Primera guerra mundial, en esta oportunidad y bueno casi estrenando esta nueva sección hahah, vamos a hablar de Caporetto, uno de los mayores desastres militares que ha habido en la historia militar y que sin embargo, en el juego sucede todo lo contrario, al menos en la mayoría de las partidas, ¡Comencemos!

En 1917 los Italianos y los denominados como Austrohúngaros estaban sumamente agotados de 3 largos años de guerra, los Italianos venían de batallas bastante jodidas que habían ganando a costa de poner los cadáveres para avanzar un par de kilómetros, Los Austrohúngaros no pegaban una, y encima tenían movimientos separatistas que amenazaban con destruir el longevo imperio desde dentro, sin embargo, ambos todavía tenían la temple para pelear y seguir luchando a fuerza de puros balazos y bombardeos de trinchera, aunque sin la misma agresividad de antes, pues, ya no les quedaban tantos hombres para desperdiciar en el frente a ninguno de los dos bandos, esto nos lleva a Caporetto, una región de difícil acceso por su condición montañosa, donde se concentraban muchísimas tropas tanto italianas como Austrohúngaras, todo estaba de relax hasta que los alemanes diseñaron un plan para romper las líneas, en el juego esto se representa bastante bien, los Austrohúngaros comenzarán desde las posiciones elevadas lanzándose en desbandada a tomar los puntos claves, mientras que los italianos, comenzarán en las típicas trincheras, teniendo que ir colina arriba a cubrir sus posiciones.

Sin embargo, en el juego, ir desde las alturas no siempre resulta en una ventaja, a diferencia de lo que sucede en mapas como Monte Grappa, que explorare en la siguiente entrega, la altura y los múltiples lugares para esconderse entre las rocas, propician los combates extensos y duraderos, lo que pasa cuando el grueso de jugadores se encuentran en un continuo pulso que se va librando entre las rocas, al ser los italianos los que tienen los puntos claves de dominación de más fácil acceso, sucede que son los primeros en asegurarlos, al menos en la mayoría de partidas que he tenido en Caporetto, claro que hay sus excepciones, pues la buena toma de decisiones entre escuadras, siempre marca la diferencia entre partidas muy cerradas, pero cuanto menos resulta curioso, pues se supone que este debería ser el desastre por excelencia donde más humillación sufrió el reino de Italia entre sus batallas, y en Battlefield, pues parece que parten de buena ventaja, en los acontecimientos reales, las cosas fueron bien diferentes.

Caporetto para Italia significo lo mismo, que no ir al Mundial de Qatar 2022, un total desastre, en la realidad, las tropas italianas sufrieron brutales bajas por las ofensivas y las tácticas que estaban empleando los Austrohúngaros bajo el asesoramiento del Imperio del Káiser, estos panas no solo se fueron entre las rocas a pegarse unos buenos <strong>360° No Scopes</strong> entre las piedras, si no que además, comprometieron todas las trincheras, al punto, que a los italianos no les quedo de otra que irse como sea del frente, pues de otra manera iban toditos a ser prisioneros, en todo caso, esta retirada tan catastrófica resulto en una amplia cantidad de heridos y capturados, y no es tan difícil imaginarlo pues al tener un territorio de tan complejo terreno, ¿A donde uno se podría retirar? el desastre fue conocido por todos los países involucrados en la guerra, y dejo una sensible marca humillante al ejercito italiano
