<P><div class="text-justify">The 1990s ended with the era of alternative movements for music. It was also the time of bands like Oasis and all of Brit Pop. Radiohead and other groups also began to shine in the middle of those glorious ten years for music. However, artists making their solo debut did not go unnoticed in an era where the ensemble (i.e. being in a group) was the norm. They were the exception to the rule and marked the lives of billions of people around the world. Thus, in 1999, Britney Spears, a teenage girl (at the time) began her artistic and musical career. A bored blonde in a classroom, she brought us a song (Baby, one more time) that took everything by storm, but there is always a cost to success.</div></P>

Radiohead y otros grupos también empezaron a brillar a mediados de esos gloriosos diez años para la música. And this story does not end with a terrible death by suicide, as is often the case with superstars, but it does encompass a series of medium to serious psychological disorders. <P><div class="text-justify">You see, the music industry in the United States, but also worldwide, is absolutely cruel and ruthless. It is designed to create trends and maintain them. Controlling, all-encompassing, insulting, ambitious; these are some of the "qualities" that have been repeated throughout history in artists who were built from scratch by an industry. The same one, that doesn't measure its scruples in terms of what it really wants (clearly, we're talking about money, lots and lots of money). And that cares little or nothing about what may (or may not) happen to the people behind the product. These lines could be an epilogue to the story of Britney Spears, who, as a very young girl, went in with the hope of being an artist and enjoying life, but who fell far short of that goal.</div></P>

Estas líneas podrían ser un epílogo de la historia de Britney Spears, que de muy chica entró, con la esperanza de ser una artista y disfrutar la vida pero que quedó muy lejos de ese propósito.</div></P>

Esta mujer, la que estaba detrás del marketing y de los flashes, fue alguien que no conoció la amabilidad y el sosiego que da estar en casa, con la familia. Al contrario, siempre fue alguien que anheló tanto sentirse realmente amada y comprendido, que francamente eligió terriblemente mal. Como dicen por allí, una serie de eventos desafortunados...</div></P>
