One Yeti's Perspective #284: Spiritual Bodies

In respone to a comment from my buddy @kenmelendez, I want to talk about spiritual bodies. Not that I believe that we will have an actual body, but more the form we will take after our physical body stops working.

It is in us as humans to believe that God is a giant man in the sky. We try to identify things we don't really know, with our own understanding. Much like people think Jesus is a certain color. 

When God said lets make man in our image, I don't think He meant physically. I believe it was in the image of love. 

If there is a finite amount of energy in the universe then that would mean that the energy inside us came from somewhere. I believe when God breathed life into man that we have God's energy inside of us.

Much like recieving a delegation to increase our bandwidth, God's energy is like our physical bandwidth and allows us to function..meaning that it is borrowed, used, and returned.  Just an idea.

Man you are rolling! Wise words really do like this video. I am a strong believer in reincarnation so I would take this one step further and say that this energy resides within you family line here on this earth, so each time you are reborn you access this energy from your ancestors and in a sense are eternal. What are your thought one other worlds? Do you think Jesus, or the spirit, of Jesus was born there as well? Sorry the energy topic has really got me thinking.

Haha thank you! I am not so much on reincarnation in the standard idea. I can not say what happens with the energy in me. I am also not sure how believing in it or not would change my life, if that makes sense. So it isnt something I really spend alot of time on. 

Could there be other worlds. Absolutely.  I believe that Jesus is the Word of God and through Him all things are created. Jesus is God in the flesh, and came for a specific reason in our human experience. I could only speculate that God's Word could be made flesh anywhere and for any goal. If God saw the need.

Man this one resonated with me deeply, I feel as if Iโ€™ve been on a journey of self discovery and been lead to the same conclusions as you ever since finding Steemit. As humans we naturally reflect our own existence upon what we view of the powers above us so no I donโ€™t think there is a giant man sitting on a throne up there somewhere. I take a little bit of scientific understanding of energy and apply it to the belief system once we move past this place of manifesting our own reality through perspective there is only one constant and that is energy itself. Energy has no solid form therefore we cannot fully imagine what our existence would be like after we leave our physical bodies.

As for being ready to move on, I think that is the only true lesson of this life to be willing to leave everything physical behind to return to where we once came from.

Haha _resonate_ like energy. Sometimes we do get caught up in our own understanding. There is a very scientific explanation, but it requires a super natural understanding. I believe that Jesus taught about seeing the kingdom of God now, and eternity. We can't clearly define what exactly what will be, but we can consciously choose how to shspe our reality now. In John 2 it talks about the light and the judgement...that is a huge aspect of my spiritual walk.

Yes, I believe that our โ€œbodiesโ€ will be spirit and not constrained by anything physical. To look God square in the face will be the greatest experience and we get to do that for all of eternity. You are so right. The sweetest part of all of that is that we cannot even imagine what seeing God would be like. Since we can't even imagine the simplest things, the idea of seeing an infinate God would be mind blowing. I imagine it would be like like putting your finger in a light socket, but feel like a hug mixed with some hard drugs haha...(trying to use human words to describe something I dont know haha.)
