We all may have a different idea of what friendship means. For some it means that there are countless surface level interactions, and for others every conversation needs to be to the soul.

As we each go through life and meet new people are we trying to reach a level of community with them? Have we been through some chaos and now are working passed it. 

Does it matter how many people that consider us friends? Does it matter how many people we consider to be friends?

Is it possible that we are each on our own path, and when our paths cross we can love hard without labels? Be well!

To me, friendship means more than two passing ships in the night. We need to have some commonality with friends. Friendship is a deeper relationship than just acquaintances. Good friends, the people you can count on are fewer than casual friends. People who say they have ***thousands*** of friends on FB, are kidding themselves. Friends know each other. How much do they know about a thousand or 10 thousand friends? And if you don't like something they say or you disagree with their point of view, you just ***unfriend*** them. With real friends you learn to disagree without violence. You come to an understanding. That is what real friendship is about.
