Language is tricky, but it is fast.
True leaders demonstrate skill and kindness over a lifetime.
So that leaves me with words..lol

I never want anyone to believe me.
If I ever had a point at all
It was to build skills, trust senses, let go of strategies.

We turn to memory (largely, but it is still accessible and wonderful in its less compulsive capacities..thank you HD) because it is where we store our non skills based knowledge. Nothing wrong with that, except that we seem to be unable to stay with our senses.. the more anxious we are, the more likely we are to turn inwards to a strategy...or borrow one from an “expert”.

Our greatest experts were often semi-autistic control freaks, whose interest and focus was enhances by the fear and insecurity of not belonging and needing to prove their value.
Many of these ended up being used and exploited by people who understood the power of using stories to move emotions.

Does this offend you?
Are you upset that I am challenging the sacred cow of knowledge..again?
That I am accusing minds of far greater brilliance and disciplined application of being naught but terrified?
Our competitive edge as a species is - the ability to work in large groups to put all those opposing thumbs to work.
To work doing what?

There is an operating system in this universe, our sciences do a grand job of dividing it up into separate disciplines and describing it. We even earn money, power and attention by demonstrating that we have mastered aspects of it.
So if I threaten the validity of knowledge, I am in effect chipping away at that which determines our value as individuals.
Are we individuals?

Is anything truly divisible?
Why certainly that is how all comparisons and valuations are made - but are these arbitrary values accurate?
Can we in fact understand more by removing information, by deciding what is noise and what is signal?
Or does doing so create even greater noise?

Knowledge is the Map
The Territory will only ever be accessible through our senses - minus our meanings.
Do you have the courage to stop being reasonable?

I don’t
If I did, perhaps I would not need to write... I could just let reality wash over me.
For sure it is anyway, sometimes I even notice
Are we all in this together?
Or together, are we, all this?
Lol..

Hey. First of all, we need knowledge and experience to survive. If we are insane, we, really quickly disappear, if we do not have a storehouse of experience and knowledge in our memory. Even our feelings are often controlled, thanks to our experience, because we know what the consequences may be.

Hey Olga,

Your not the only one who does not agree with my declaration that most knowledge arises out of fear and is pathological to us and our habitat. It is an audacious claim and reeks of sensationalism and attention seeking.

So why do I keep sneaking it in there?

Knowledge that is readily updatable when presented with fresh evidence is a kind of skill.

Opinion that is held for some sort of personal advantage, that upsets us when it is challenged is a form of trauma.

Consider also how dificult it is to stop thinking, the stream of thoughts that keep us from experiencing our lives more fully are not random at all.

They are our opinions, labels and evaluations bounced back at us as everything "reminds" us - everything Re-minds us.

That is memory for you, and its not so pretty.

Animals function extremely well without our complex alternate futures, and pasts that we take personally and get so upset by.

So, what is the point?
The point is that it is the taking things personally that causes us to cling to knowledge or versions of it for advantage.

This messes up our intelligence as we compare all fresh data to "opinions" instead of clean memories.

Does that work better?

Of course, I could be totally wrong, this is just what I observe in myself.

Animals function well without the experience of knowledge, because they have natural instincts at the level to find food and not to be eaten by other animals. They do not seek to learn and gain knowledge. They do not need other needs. Man is not an animal. I agree that some of our thoughts prevent us from living comfortably and peacefully, but, since we live in a society with high technologies, our life largely depends on our knowledge and experience. When the head is empty - always more relaxed :)) But life becomes empty and monotonous.
