## When I first started out on Steemit as @sift666 back in August 2016 I was an optimistic bugger.

Wanting to learn all about cryptos and earn money for my blog posts, I was also unusually (for me) polite and respectful of the more experienced account holders.

Over time I learned all sorts of dark secrets about Steemit, and became very cynical. By the time of the hardfork to Hive, to be honest, I had come to hate much about Steemit, but by then I’d done very well from cryptos, learned the ropes so to speak, and also had a lot of fun blogging and made some great friends online. Steemit was over, but no regrets (or regerts as the famous tattoo says).

Surprisingly, I started out on Hive with the same optimistic outlook, despite the fact that many of my friends from Steemit wanted nothing to do with either blockchain and warned me at length about what they saw going on. Not only did I ignore them, I went with my instincts and bought up a huge pile of Hive dirt cheap.

That went very well, and I arrived at a point of having 250k of HP that was by then fairly valuable. But downvoting, the bane of my life on the blockchain, was ramping up, first on a couple of my alt accounts, and then on my main @frot account. Some of my friends who still remained on Hive were being relentlessly downvoted, and I soon was too.

I’m not going to beat around the bush here – it really fucked me off. So I powered down all my accounts, and exchanged my Hive for other cryptos. Because of some funds tied up in delegations, I haven't yet completely finished powering down all my accounts, but am now down from 250k to under 5k HP.

What I’m now aiming for is just 50HP on @frot for resource credits, plus 5HP each on my ten favourite alts, and zero on the others, which I’m no longer using. So a total of just 100HP – and that is down from 250k...

I have no idea if the insider accounts who drove me to do that give a toss, and they could well be quite happy about it, but at the current price of $1.28, my investment in HP over the past six months has dropped from US$320,000 to US$128. Holy cow!

I am still also holding 5k of liquid hive as a bit of a flutter, but I would ditch it at the drop of a hat. As far as Hive the crypto goes I have no more allegiance to it than I would to any other small crypto that I don’t trust an inch. I think it’s dodgy, but it still could have a big price surge.

Meanwhile all my focus has switched at this point to VYB. Why? – there are several reasons, but primarily because there is no downvoting.

Here is the changing relationship part. Making money from blogging is no longer a big motivator for me – we are all at risk of losing everything we own in a globalist great reset, and our lives depend on us managing to create an alternative to that.

And while posting new content is a fun hobby, right now I’m more specific as to what I want to share on the internet. I’ve already been threatened by the NZ government and told to remove content from my websites or face up to seven years in jail. And my NZ based server provider has been told by the government to warn me they will have to close my account if I don’t remove any offending content. They don’t want to do that because I’m a paying customer, but the government can easily shut their entire business down, so they are forced to.

My content is now blocked from several large platforms, and it’s only a matter of time before it is all labelled “hate speech” (the government hates it). And that is why I’m so obsessed with a downvote free blockchain platform. Hive doesn’t provide that, and I’m under attack from large (globalist funded?) accounts, so it’s not of much use to me in a censored new world order.

All things change over time, and the gloves are off now. I like to joke around, troll a bit from time to time, and I always like some entertainment. But I’m also wanting to get a bunch of “hate speech” posted online in such a way that even a horse faced globalist puppet transvestite psychopath can’t block or remove it.

### And that is what I’m really here for now – the $5 post payouts will mean fuck all if we lose this battle...
