I had no idea that microwave could pose risk to humans. If the emission of the erratic pulsed microwaves could damage the body organs, then there's greater need to research more on this and take necessary caution. Thank you @fulltimegeek for sharing

At the moment 4G is using up to 3Ghz. 5G is going to start with 2-5 GHz and then wants to use up to 100Ghz. There are weapons existing which are at 100 GHz. With my basic knowledge about Telecommunications and waves signals, there is more harm than good to these microwaves signals if not properly propagated (I.e with waveguides), especially if the technology is still evolving. Hopefully it doesn't affect more than just birds before it's perfected!

Although this is interesting, and I think there should definitely be more testing before they release 5G because of these kinds of incidents, the site and FB link are partially incorrect in their information (and I tend to find things shared by these kinds of sites dubious by nature). 5G is actually the first implementation of MMW instead of MW tech, using millimeter waves instead of microwaves. This is due to the fact that the microwave spectrum is already highly saturated, meaning there will be less congestion (hopefully) by using the millimeter wave spectrum. It's also interesting to note that MMW are weaker than MW, in that they travel a shorter distance, and can travel through less materials than microwaves can.
