Nature has always been the beginning of everything, especially colors. It's the only reason why we perceive colors in the first place. The colors that we appreciate today has used nature as its reference, from the blue sky to the red roses. Color is the reason why we perceive things much easier. Just imagine a world where all objects are all grey. Would you even recognize an apple, the sky, leaves, and even a tomato if everything is colorless or no color at all? I bet not ;) Many of us are fond of colors and there are some of us that have a really bold choice in their preference. For the first photo, I would like to showcase a purple flower by an orchid that I found at the Gardens by the Bay. There's an abundance of plants that are carefully chosen and fitted to 250 acres of landscaped space at the center of the city. While inside the gardens, I almost forgot that I'm in a modern city. Singapore is really a progressive city and they always make sure to put nature at the forefront of the development.  Another thing that I appreciate about this place is that they also made sure the important pieces of history is being preserved. One of them is the old shophouses. These are old buildings that are usual 2-3 storeys high. For the owners or tenants of these buildings, they are not allowed to modify the existing structure and ornaments. But, they are allowed to be creative when it comes to the color of the facade. Check on this one...  Lastly, this kind of bold choice in colors doesn't only apply in small scale private buildings. They also apply it in commercial/public buildings.
