Visiting a real sword master at the laido Dojo in Berlin-Kreuzberg and more information about laido!
Hello Steemians, 

on Wednesday I visited a real sword master in the Laido Dojo in Berlin-Kreuzberg to show him my Katana swords and learn more about it.

The name of the sword master and Dojo- & trainings-conductor is Wim van Mourik, 6. Dan laido.

In this article I want to show you some impressions of inside the Dojo amd give you more information about Laido.

The Katana swords in the silk covers are real swords with sharp blades.

<h3> More information about laido: </h3>  



The central content of the laido is the practice of "kata" - fixed movement sequences that correspond in content to a sword fight. They are executed with a wooden sword, practice sword (laito) and at advanced level with a sharp sword (Katana / Shinken), whereby the practioner introduces one or more opponents, acts accordingly to the situation and defeats the opponents. Laido thus promotes the development of qualities such as fighting spirit, precision, aesthetics, concentration and inner balance. These qualities help us beyond the laido-exercise to master our own life situations and thus come in line with ourselves and our environment.
