NeuroBot Bitcoin Price Update (BTC Prediction Results).
# NeuroBot BTC Price Prediction - Did It Get It Right?

I posted the other day about a new [cryptocurrency price prediction website](https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@futuristgear/neurobot-can-it-really-predict-the-bitcoin-price-we-ll-find-out-soon) called [NeuroBot](https://neurobot.ws/). Here is a screenshot that shows it predicting a price of around $3800 per BTC *today*:

As we can see from this screenshot taken on CoinMarketCap, that price prediction was wrong:

Bitcoin pushed past $4500 USD today, meaning NeuroBot was wrong by about $700.

## A Work In Progress?

I like the idea of using data and AI/Neural Networks to better predict where the prices of cryptocurrencies will be. But based on this result; it seems that the project is still a work in progress.

Please note that I've only focused on the one chart/prediction here, maybe the website/program has had better luck predicting the price of another coin such as Litecoin? I haven't checked that here.

Judging by it being wrong about BTC though, I would say this tool isn't reliable enough to be used yet. If we were following the advice of this prediction and sold before today, I doubt we would be very happy about that.

I think it does!

Just out of interest, I looked into what it was saying for ETH and XRP, the prices on those predictions look a lot more accurate.

I won't personally be doing any trading/investing based off it yet though. :-D

Hopefully they make it more accurate.
