With the general sale around the corner, many people are going crazy. It is a cool time to witness, and I am very curious how the new airdrops will look like. Furthermore, a lot of people speculate that the prices of cards will drop because a lot of new cards will flow the market. On that note I wanted to make a list of cards that I am looking to buy and hopefully get them at a discounted price as they are right now. I am relatively new to this game, so some cards might be newbie choices, but I will try to explain along the way why I chose to purchase these cards. I am looking to spend around 400$ and will include every investment that I am going to make in the upcoming general sale. Also, I wanted to say that any advice is very much appreciated and will be responded to in the comments! With this out of the way let’s get started!

#### Packs
Before we jump into the card section, I also want to buy some packs. At the end of the day, it is always fun to open packs and hope to get this one amazing card that could turn around your game. Additionally, everybody who is buying a pack has a chance to get an airdrop, so this is a nice side effect. With one pack costing 4$ I am looking to buy 20 packs which makes my first purchase worth about 80$. I am aware that this is not the purchase of the century, but I am planning on buying some more packs if they don’t run out in the first few days. I will open all 20 of them over the course of the next weeks so stay tuned for my pulls. I am expecting not much though with my recent luck in this game :D.

#### Summoners
Moving on to the next section we have the Summoners. Because my investment is limited, I only take three Splinters into consideration, and these are Life, Earth and Fire. With this selection I am able to cover every type of attack in this game and I think it makes my deck well diversified. Looking at the higher leagues I want to maintain myself at least in Silver 3 that is why I am looking to boost the summoners of these three Splinters first. Furthermore, these are my favorite Splinters and I already have the Level 2 summoners which makes me only have to buy 9 of each. Saying that it is not a small investment and will take about a third of my investment of 400$. Saying that, I do believe that this is necessary to proceed in the game and achieve the goals that I am setting. In total I am planning to invest around 140 $ into this section with the hope that the price will drop 20% due to the general sale.

#### Earth-Splinter
Next up we have the Monster Section. Here I am looking to boost my current monster to a higher level and eventually buy up some monsters from which I think will help me to proceed in higher divisions. We start off with the Earth-Splinter which is by far my favorite Splinter in this Patch. With its Magic damage it is clear why a lot of people are loving this and I am one of these people. First, I want to get Fungus Fiend. I recognize that a card with zero mana cost can be very valuable in low mana games but also as a buffer in certain strategic moves. That is why all of my upcoming Splinters I am planning to purchase one of these Fiend monsters. Furthermore, I believe that these cards will get pulled a lot putting their price down. An additional perk is that they each give 500 CP which is also one of my goals: To put my CP as high as possible.

Next up is Queen Mycelia. This card is the most expensive Chaos Legion Legendary card apart from the Dragon Summoner and Doctor Blight. This has its reason because this card is very strong and gives all of your minions additional armor. It is very comparable with the Venari Wavesmith but this is for Earth. With about 40$ this will be the most expensive purchase of this bunch but I think it will be worth it. Moving on to the next obvious choice is Grund. I am a little uncertain whether I want his level 1 or 2 version but it all depends how the budget will move by the end. For now I am planning with level 1 and even here this card is an absolute beast. With its double attack which will deal 6 damage and the 10 health this card is a very solid attacking tank which I would love to have in my deck. 

My last three picks for the Earth Splinter, I am picking for the same exact reason. I made a good experience with them and they were solid win providers over the past few weeks. This is why I want to boost these cards to make them more powerful and guarantee myself more wins in the future. I am talking about the Mycelic Slipspawn, Regal Peryton and the Goblin Psychic. All of the Earth Purchases will cost me around 80$ which would leave me around 100$ left which I can spend on the rest.

#### Fire
I learned to love the Fire Splinter over the curse of the past few weeks. In some situation I even prefer to use the Fire Splinter over the Earth Splinter. With this being said, I want to bring this deck to the next level and I will trying doing that by purchasing and upgrading the following cards. First, the obligatory Fiend monster. Like I said before, I think they are a good choice to buy for CP. The next cards have more to do with strategy. Tusk the wide and the Forgotten One are cards that I always wanted to try but never was able to. I think tusk will be a good counter against the Magic attacks that I will be facing and the Forgotten One just looks insane. With these cards again, I am not entirely sure whether I want to purchase the Level 2 versions but if I do I think these cards will absolutely help me to achieve my goals. 

Next up are cards that I am using a lot. These are Tenyii Striker, Djinn Apprentance, Antoid Platoon and Radiated Brute. All of them have different uses cases and different strategies which makes me use the fire Splinter in various scenarios. I am choosing to purchase the Djinn as gold foil because I already have his level 2 version as gold foil. Furthermore, I am really enjoying playing Tenyii because he just slices up the opponents backline. In combination with Antoid Platoon and Uraeus, these make a very mana efficient strike force.

#### Life & Neutral
Last but not least is life and the neutral cards. I really like playing Life with the Shield Bearer as the tank. Because of the Time Mage and the Venari Crystalsmith the Shield Bearer is very difficult to come through and by the time my opponent is through his whole team is eliminated. This is the reason why I want to boost all of the cards down below. Additionally, I want to have a Soul Fiend because I can always throw him in as an additional buffer between my Ranged attackers and my tank so that I have a little bit more time to fire the Ranged attacks.

Speaking of the Neutral cards, I am looking to buy the Xenith Monk and boost my Xenith Archer to Level 3. The Monk because a self healing level 4 card with 6 health is always nice to have and the archer because I am often using this card in Life battles. Furthermore, it gives a lot of CP and an additional DEC boost if I use this card while winning.

#### Summary
All in all you could see my assumed stats in the following table. I think that it is possible to make it more CP-efficient but then I don’t think that I will be performing as well in the higher Divisions and this is my number one priority.
