Hi hivers!
Today ends the world breastfeeding week and I want to close it with this video as a way to raise awareness about the importance of this stage for mothers, babies, society, and the planet.

The benefits are so many that I still don't understand why it is so stigmatized and some women, by choice, decide not to do it. 
It requires great dedication, it is also true that it can be exhausting, but we must remember that bringing babies into this world is already a huge responsibility; therefore, if we are going to do it, we must do it in the healthiest way possible. 

Breastfeeding brings benefits to your health in the following areas: 
- **PHYSICAL**.
It helps in postpartum recovery, the uterus regains its size and position.
It decreases the risk of ovarian and breast cancer.
Promotes bone remineralization after childbirth.
Prevents anemia, infectious diseases for the baby, and obesity in both mom and baby.
Among many others...

- PSYCHO-EMOTIONAL
Skin-to-skin contact stimulates the release of oxytocin, therefore stress and anxiety levels decrease.
It also reduces the possibility of depression.
It creates and improves the mother-baby relationship.
It produces security for both and this increases their self-esteem.
They will form a unique bond of affection.
It will nourish your body and your heart.
To mention a few...

- ECONOMICAL
Reduces the cost of buying formula every month, pacifiers, bottles, etc.
It is an environmentally friendly alternative because it does not generate plastic waste. 
etc...

Now that you know some of the many benefits, I ask you, does it make sense to continue scaring us to see a baby breastfeeding? why is the male breast socially accepted and the female breast has to be covered?

LET'S NORMALIZE BREASTFEEDING AND MOTHER'S BREAST.

Hoy termina la semana mundial de la lactancia y quiero cerrarla con este video a forma de concientización sobre la importancia de esta etapa tanto para las madres, como los bebés, la sociedad y el planeta.

Los beneficios son tantos que aún no me explico cómo es que está tan estigmatizada y algunas mujeres, por decisión propia deciden no hacerlo. 
Requiere de una gran dedicación, es cierto que también puede ser cansado sin embargo hay que recordar que traer bebés a este mundo es ya una gran responsabilidad; entonces, si vamos a hacerlo, hay que hacerlo de la forma más sana posible. 

Amamantar trae beneficios a tu salud en las siguientes áreas: 
- **FÍSICA**
Ayuda en la recuperación post-parto, que el útero recupere su tamaño y posición.
Disminuye el riesgo de cáncer de ovario y de mama.
Propicia la remineralización ósea después del parto.
Previene anemia, enfermedades infecciosas para bebé y asi como obesidad tanto en mama como en bebé.
Entre muchos otros...

- **PSICO-EMOCIONAL**
El contacto piel con piel estimula la liberación de oxitocina, por lo tanto los niveles de estrés  y ansiedad bajan.
Asimismo, reduce la posibilidad de padecer depresión.
Crea y mejora la relación madre-bebé.
Produce confianza y seguridad para ambos, esto aumenta su autoestima.
Formarán un vínculo afectivo único.
Nutrirá su cuerpo y su corazón.
Por mencionar algunos...

- **ECONÓMICA**
Reduce los  gastos de comprar leche de formula cada mes, chupones, biberones, etc.
Es una alternativa ecológica pues no genera desechos plásticos.

Ahora que conoces algunos de los tantos beneficios, te pregunto ¿tiene sentido seguir asustandonos de ver amamantar a un bebé? ¿porque el pecho masculino es aceptado socialmente y el pecho femenino tiene que ser cubierto?

Hola hermoso, dar pecho es la cosa más bella que hay,  yo lo hice por dos años y es a demanda es decir, cuando el bebé quiera, no hay que tomar menjurjes para que la leche salga, mientras haya succión a demanda, pues habrá leche suficiente para alimentar al bebé.

Me alegra tanto que lo hayas logrado 🥳 nada mejor que la lactancia materna. A mi me costó pero lo logré con mi tercer hijo, el ha sido lactancia materna exclusiva y ya con un año no abandona a su tetita jeje.

Aww qué bueno 🥰🙌🏽 ¡felicidades! ¿Le vas a dar hasta los dos años como recomienda la OMS? A mi si me gustaría, porque las tomas ya son mucho mas espaciadas entonces sin problemas ☺️  uyy! Y sí que fue doloroso las primeras dos semanas pero ya después de eso, todo bien, practicando las posiciones y corrigiendo el agarre, lo logramos ✨🤱🏻✨

Con las 2 niñas me costo eso del agarre, pero con este niño no y quitarle la teta no es una opción ya que es un tetadicto xD asi que si llegaremos a los 2 años de lactancia materna por lo visto

I personally hate wearing the bra.
However, because we are asked to wear it, then I didn't have a choice.
And I would love to breastfeed my future baby. It's achieving a part in womanhood - being a mother.
Plus, the baby is healthier after milk from mom.
So, I say YES to breastfeeding babies!

Uhh, the sports bra and bralettes a “heaven”!, so comfortable and you can wear them everyday, everywhere! Otherwise a pregnant woman shouldn’t wear bra with wire and they could work when you are breastfeeding.

Hermoso vídeo, sobre todo hermoso mensaje al final XD que es bastante inútil que el hombre si pueda mostrar el pecho en publico, por que seamos honesto, a ninguna mujer deberían de decirle que se cubra por *"pudor"* o alguna otra triste excusa para expresar el control de otros en normas sociales inútiles, a dos meses de ser papa, me alegra saber esta información, yo no sabia que contenido era el de la leche, que porcentajes y procesos eran, pero si sabia lo importante que era el lazo que se formara entre mi hija y mi prometida, saludos y repito, hermoso video <3 Me encanto la música.
