lol.  I had a dog as a child that if you tried this method of hiding the pill they would somehow eat all of the sausage and spit out the pill.  It was pretty amazing and also frustrating.  Eventually we had to crush the pill into a powder and get it in the meat or cheese or whatever else we were using.   My father had a different method and would just force the pill down the dog's throat and that worked too, but obviously the dog didn't like this very much.
