Ayer estaba en casa ocupado en no se qué, todo estaba muy tranquilo y silencioso, hasta que un ruido proveniente de la calle llamó mi atención. Al salir, me encontré con un grupo de niños y adolescentes señalando hacia el cielo, emocionados por lo que veían. Hice un esfuerzo por intentar ver lo mismo que ellos, pero simplemente no pude desde la ventana de la casa. Me vi obligado a salir, pues era demasiada mi curiosidad. Fue entonces cuando lo vi, el cielo estaba en llamas.

Quedé cautivado al instante, con la vista puesta en el cielo, sin dejar de verlo a pesar de los saltos y gritos de los niños a mi alrededor. No era la primera vez que veía tales tonalidades de rojo y naranja entre las nubes, pero nunca antes había visto algo similar.

Me pareció algo digno de recordar, así que fui por la tablet y capturé unas cuantas fotografías del momento. Claro, podría contárles a amigos y familiares acerca de lo que había visto, pero como siempre dicen, una imagen vale más que mil palabras. Pensando en esto, decidí quedarme un poco más y capturar cada momento, mientras la lengua de fuego se extinguía cada vez más hasta casi, casi, desaparecer...

Cuando tomé las fotografías no pensé en el resultado, pero la secuencia que obtuve me parece fantástica. Ver como el rojo y el amarillo va desapareciendo gradualmente nos muestra que todo tiene un comienzo y un final; además, reflexioné en que las cosas, por muy fantásticas y hermosas que sean, no duran para siempre. 

Paisajes como estos son un regalo de la naturaleza y ciertamente somos dichosos de poder capturar tales escenarios para compartirlos con otros. Espero que les hayan gustado las fotografías, me despido entonces...

Yesterday I was at home busy with I don't know what, everything was very calm and quiet, until a noise coming from the street caught my attention. When I came out, I found a group of children and teenagers pointing at the sky, excited by what they were seeing. I made an effort to try to see what they were seeing, but I simply could not from the window of the house. I was forced to go outside, as my curiosity was too much. That's when I saw it, the sky was on fire.

I was instantly captivated, my eyes fixed on the sky, never taking my eyes off it despite the jumping and screaming of the children around me. It was not the first time I had seen such shades of red and orange among the clouds, but I had never seen anything like it before.

It seemed like something worth remembering, so I went for the tablet and captured a few pictures of the moment. Sure, I could tell friends and family about what I had seen, but as they always say, a picture is worth a thousand words. Thinking about this, I decided to stay a little longer and capture every moment, as the tongue of flame faded more and more until it almost, almost, disappeared....

When I took the pictures I didn't think about the result, but the sequence I got seems fantastic to me. Seeing how the red and yellow is gradually disappearing shows us that everything has a beginning and an end; also, I reflected that things, no matter how fantastic and beautiful they are, do not last forever. 

Landscapes like these are a gift from nature and we are certainly blessed to be able to capture such scenery to share with others. I hope you liked the pictures, I'll say goodbye then....
