It's only 6 pm when I started writing this post, so there are still some hours today to make sure I have my online "quota", but I'm happy I spent very little time so far strapped to my chair, desk, and laptop, without even planning for it.

In the morning we had a plumber come over because we had a small water leakage which neither I nor him could figure out where it came for for a while, but eventually he broke the installation into pieces where the problem seemed to be and found it. Or at least we think he did. He said to give him a call if the problem reoccurs. Not easy to deal with these hard to spot failures. And even harder to find specialists that come for small tasks, when there are many bigger and better paid jobs they can take for the same time and there isn't much competition either because there is too much demand and a decreasing offer of good and serious specialists for various "physical" jobs.

This activity wasn't fun, but at least it was different from my daily routine, which was good. And of course, I'm glad we caught him and that the problem was solved, by all appearances.

After the plumber left, seeing what a great day it was outside, and since the prognosis for tomorrow says we'll have some rain, we decided to go for a long walk. It wasn't just a walk, we had some minor shopping to do too, but that was only an excuse.

This is how I'd love summers to be... 26 degrees Celsius, not 40. Then I'd look for the sun instead of hiding from it.

I noticed that in recent months I began to look for excuses to spend less time online, or rather sitting on my chair in front of the laptop. I even started to prefer house chores, which a few years ago would have seemed like torture.

To a degree I am trying to take better care of myself and my health since I'm not 20 anymore, but I also wonder if the market boredom gave me a push to spend less time in front of the laptop. I am also curious if my preference for one activity or another will change as we go into a full fledged bull run and winter will come, with its cold, darker, and shorter days.

I guess time will tell... Not too much time either...
