 A new game will soon be joining Steem. Its name: [NextColony](https://nextcolony.io). I've been watching it for a while, don't have the Steem to participate in their initial auctions, although holding a legendary uranium planet will offer an almost unfair advantage in the game, apparently. The launch date is set pretty soon: on April 21st. We also know other details, like the [drop rate by planet type](/nextcolony/@nextcolony/that-s-one-small-step-for-a-team-one-giant-leap-for-steem). I haven't played the game that serves as inspiration to NextColony, but I recognize some elements that are similar in a different game. And this is promising. The team that develops the game is from Germany. I just noticed Holger (@holger80) is now in the team, I didn't see him the first time I checked out the game, that's a great move to have him in the development team, because he is well-known for his skills and many blockchain-related projects, *beem* python library being probably the most used by other developers. Here is the full team, as it is presented on the NextColony website: > This game is made in Germany and build by an experienced and highly motivated team. The five-headed team is Holger (@holger80), Jens (@jarunik), Oli (@oliverschmid), Robert (@bronkong), and Tim (@rondras). The industrious Platuro (@platuro) works for us as a highly committed mercenary. I will most likely try this game out. Although it will be released a week or so before I will go on a short few days vacation, which might hinder my progress, I will join early, because I know that makes a difference. My previous experiences on Steem with Steem Monsters and DrugWars taught me that.
