This one is for the person who makes my days extra sweeter, for this someone who is always good for my heart.

Falling in love is a cute feeling, but falling in love with the person who loves you is truly divine.

I never expected something like this would happen- something like you and I. What we have right now used to be a part of my ‘what ifs’ and wishlist as I am being used to love others without expecting and receiving in return. It is as if I am still dreaming right now.

You had always been the loving one. You had always been the caring one. You had always been the selfless person I know who does not hesitate to help even you are already tired. You always prioritize others. You always put me to sleep no matter how rough your day might have been. You do not mind at all just as long as you feel that you completed my day. You never counted the cost.

And I had always been the lucky one from the day we first met.

I remember those glances you used to make and I could still feel the chill at the back of my spine. It is like I had been in love with you for quite a long time already. I could also remember when you hugged me because you wanted to make me feel better by making me warm. Your arms are quite wide to make me feel at ease. Your smiles had always been so warm. It is like a sunshine. And your words had always been so short, firm, but soft enough to touch my heart.

What I love about us is not just sheer kilig, but rather the comfort you are giving me even when you are just on my side.

When you lose something, you gain something better and fit for you. Someone’s loss became my personal gain, my personal gem, and the treasure I would love to keep for the rest of my life. I would be that someone you could count on to. I would also love to be that someone who would take care of you for the rest of your life. I would be that someone who seems to be selfless just for you. I would be someone who would always put you on top of my list.

If I am going to read different love stories, I prefer reading ours over and over as the feelings are immense and true. And yeah, love is just a four-letter word, but it is also what pushes me to be alive day by day. I love you and I am so indebted to God to have you in my life. Rest assured, I would never leave you. I will stay right by your side just the way you are to me now.
