Los frutos otorgan diversas formas y colores intensos en nuestra campiña y cosecha.  Aquí podemos verificar nuestros ayotes tiernos de cosecha para disfrutarlos en caldos, sopas, cremas y cuántas delicias se nos ocurran con estas exquisiteses.  Los ayotes o auyamas crecen incansablemente en nuestros patios traseros, techos, o lugares de cosecha y aparte de brindarnos una belleza para nuestra vista, nos otorgan una fuente inagotable de alimentos.  Cualquier figura geométrica se forma en los ayotes y esto nos da mucha alegría, sabiendo que aparte de nuestros cereales básicos cultivados tendremos otra opción para degustar.
