The current plan or current agenda wants to make those millionaires more powerful... it is up to us, to look at ourselves deeply as human beings. Will the majority do it? I think not.
I have never been one to look at brands, in fact I know little about it, I always look at value for money, and I buy things that I like but not because of the brand and I think a lot before buying something expensive and that for certain reasons must have a brand, for example a computer or a phone.

But it is true that I have seen people stop eating because they want to have a bigger TV with more definition, to give you an example...

We are in a bad way and we are going to the precipice.

My wife is a pretty good bargain shopper. Add to that the fact that neither of us have ever been big on fancy labels and we are doing pretty well. Some things that are name brand do have a higher quality than those things we splurge on a bit.

We have someone in our family that is constantly in a hurt locker when it comes to their financial situation. I do not understand how they cannot learn from the mistakes they have made. I guess when you constantly have people bail you out why change your behavior. The wife and I have stopped enabling them.

You have no idea how much I agree with what you're saying. 

In my country (you know there are many difficulties), but no matter how bad the financial situation is, iPhones are the best-selling phones (the price of a model 13 can reach $800 and the new ones more than $1500). People go to great lengths to have one, they squeeze their family abroad just to carry one of those models in their pocket, not to mention the clothing. This society is nonsensical, and even more incredible is the success of all the marketing campaigns, which are achieving what they set out to do

It is a fact that everyone dreams but due to inflation it is now impossible to fulfill them. Here, a few days ago, the electricity bills came and the people who used 200 units got 3000 bills.  9,000 bill has been given to the user of 201 units, here people are in the same problem, the income has not increased but the expenses have increased and there are also wishes in the heart to take the car of choice and do things but due to inflation.  The reason is not fulfilled and whenever we see something we like like this, then we have a lot of anxiety that we wish we could buy it too.

Hi Galen, I have been studying the issue you raise today in some form for some time. Contrary to what common sense tells us, the things we own lose interest (unless they have sentimental value), while the experience (museum visits, watching a movie, a trip, etc.) lasts over time in our memory, in the stories we share. It is very interesting the research of Boven and Gilovich (2003) in which they conclude that it is a better investment to "acquire a vital experience" than to buy tangible objects (to feed the ego). It seems that behaving like humans makes us happier, although in real life we behave more like consumers than human beings.

From what I seen/heard of the Tucker speech in Perth last week. Sounds to me like your government/media clown car is being driven by the same globalist elite clowns as ours. So much of this economic destruction is self imposed by them. 

I have been cutting nearly all PM (PREVENTATIVE maint.) 

Called "preventative" for a reason... It will come back to bite me I am sure if I do not get out soon. 😳

I've seen this a lot on social media as well. People with low salary getting Iphones and expensive things. Those are the ones that really need to think about what they're doing. But, I do think going for branded options are better when it comes to quality. I didn't grow up in a rich family, so my school shoes wear out quickly. But I can still remember how the Dr. Martens [back when they were still really good] lasted for a very long time. My sisters were even stomping and dragging their feet to try to wear them out faster. So I think going for quality over popularity is what people should be striving for.

Some people don’t feel fulfilled when they haven’t owned any big brand in the world. That’s what we have attached to humanity. We feel the most successful people are those who have so many material things that are expensive 
Now, an average Nigerian youth makes use of an iPhone which is very much expensive and difficult to afford but once they begin to use an iPhone, they classify it to as them having a good living 

If I had the money, I would have ordered for this type of car. 😀 It's fascinating!

A limit is alwsys mindful...excess of anything is alwsys bad....People often swayed away in credit card offers and scheme and go beyond their financial limit....it is jmportsnt to keep the expenses in check rather than regretting later.
