People and minds always complicate things and life, that's how it is. 

I loved the list, especially point 3, I have practised it a lot and I still do.

I would add that to make life simple, don't worry in advance about things that haven't happened and may never happen, or see ghosts where there are none. It adds unnecessary stress to life. It has happened to me a lot in the past.

It's funny just how tasty a cold glass of water can be sometimes.  It's almost addictive when it is a really good glass of water.  I probably struggle with the first one on your list the most.  I have never been that great of a communicator.

A good recipe for a good life

We have been sold a lifestyle filled with accessories and trivial things, and life is simply much simpler, or at least, that's how I see it.

I would just add, make your bed; it’s incredible... but I know a few people who don’t do this, and although it may sound silly, it can gives you a sense of victory and responsibility from the early hours of the morning. I remember when I have to start at the army 😅

This is literally me! I got a scheduled weekly menu, about fixed always and I go once a week at supermarket, meat and fish I buy them fresh once every 2-3 weeks, then I see people going like every day at supermarket to buy the things for the day Lol!

Have plans is also me, I always plan ahead weeks or even months, I often make a plan B in case something goes wrong, they call me paranoid for that tough

A personal simplicity, don't bother argue with people, you end up wasting time, energy and patience, you can start discuss but if you see it's heading nowhere just drop it and go away

I'd say my life is pretty simple, though unforeseen circumstances have a habit of messing up my forward planning. If my father hadn't got sick, I'd likely still be living in Holland. If it wasn't for the Covid nonsense, I'd likely have stayed in Dublin. If it wasn't for the war I believe is imminent, I'd probably die here but now, who knows?

I live in a big city and from home to work I have 30 km through the city center... That road takes a lot of energy and time in my drive every day.
To make it easier for myself, I don't go with my car, I use the company bus.
In the morning, I have 10 minutes walking to the starting station, and on the bus, instead of a tense ride in the crowd, I can nap, read, play games, read or write posts.

I might lose an extra 15 minutes, but when I spend 1,5 hours daily in the car, the extra 15 minutes is a small difference, for such a big difference in stress and annoyance.

Not to mention that I have a great advantage at work, there is no staying after working hours. The bus won't wait, I turn off my laptop, cancel meetings and at 4:05 pm I leave the company and go to the bus to return home.

I know i'm good person in diferent ways, indo what i love, do art and try to inspire, but is sad when people have standard about how we should live.

It's always complicated when u born and live in venezuela no matter what u do or Say it's just a eternal struggle.

"Simple is the most difficult" is a famous quote from Johan Cruijff (1947 – 2016✝), a famous Dutch footballer and coach. And I think there is a truth in this!

You have pointed out some nice points which I can relate to.

I want to add something to this point. I actually want to be a better listener. Really pay attention to the ones communicating. 
Becoming a better communicator starts with better listening I think. 
And I try not to judge. We all have our own ideas, but listening and communicating without judging is quite difficult, but can lead to better conversations and new insights.

**Do something good!**
Doing something good can be very simple. You don't have to solve the problems of the world. It can be as simple as giving someone a compliment, picking up some trash in the street or helping a neighbor. 
These things can both give a good feeling to the receiver as to yourself.

I tend to go in reverse. I over analyse everything to try and distill it down to its component parts. Then the highly complex becomes simple. Autism is a brilliant talent. I'm undiagnosed, but peer reviewed ;)

That part about communication really hit me. I never realized how much poor communication adds unnecessary stress in my life until I started working on it. Still learning, but progress feels good!

One path to simplicity: avoid debt wherever possible. Less clutter from unnecessary purchases, fewer bills, more financial freedom. Can it be done perfectly? Probably not, but the mindset of choosing not to borrow when there isn't a real need will simplify a lot.

Although it may seem paradoxical, modernity has made our lives more complex. All this technological development aimed at making our lives more comfortable has added new demands to our lives. Not so long ago, most people had a small radius of action within a familiar micro-world in which living was simpler.

I like simplicity. I think one method to achieve this is to prioritize according to the goals that each of us wants to achieve. Starting with the organization of each day, giving priority to what is really important, postponing or eliminating from our to-do list the things that only complicate our lives without contributing anything significant.
Another important thing is to avoid assuming functions that do not belong to us. Within the family, at work, in the social sphere, everyone should assume the tasks that correspond to them.
Another suggestion on my part to simplify life would be not to worry about what we are not yet sure will happen. It is better to deal with it when signs appear, but without thinking immediately about the worst outcome. If my stomach hurts, I don't have to have cancer that will end my life. If the pain does not go away with the usual treatments then let's start by visiting the doctor.
